Patent number: 7662472Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a plain bearing which can be further improved in bearing capability, in particular, anti-seizure property, initial conformability and cavitation resistance. In the present invention, a sliding layer 2 is formed on the surface of a bearing alloy layer 1 formed of a copper-based or aluminum-based alloy, and the sliding layer 2 comprises a resin binder obtained by applying a strong shearing force to a composition comprising a polybenzimidazole resin as main constituent and at least one member selected from the group consisting of a polyamide-imide resin, a polyamide resin and an epoxy resin, to make the composition into a polymer alloy, and 25 to 75 mass % of a solid lubricant. Owing to such a constitution, toughness and strength are imparted to the sliding layer 2 and the anti-seizure property, initial conformability and cavitation resistance can also be improved.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2007Date of Patent: February 16, 2010Assignee: Daido Metal Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takuya Tanaka, Teruo Abe, Isei Naka, Yoshimi Kuroda, Tomomi Okumura

Patent number: 7399023Abstract: In order to provide a guide roller which can be readily mounted on a support member and readily adjusted in position without reducing strength of a support shaft, according to the invention, when inserting a screw part of the shaft through a long hole of the support member and fixing the shaft by a nut on a back side, the screw part is inserted while contacting notched planes with contact parts, and an insertion position of the screw part is made adjustable in the long hole. It is possible, without necessity to form an engaging part for calking in the columnar shaped support shaft, to prevent reduction in strength of the guide roller, to position the guide roller with respect to a rail only by screwing the guide roller to the support member after previously fixing the support member to the slide door, and to make the operation efficient.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 2006Date of Patent: July 15, 2008Assignee: Daido Metal Company Ltd.Inventors: Takumi Nomura, Teruo Abe, Hiroshi Naito

Publication number: 20060010773Abstract: A bearing type of guide roller capable of being reliably prevented from falling off a rail is provided. A guide roller is constituted from a support shaft fixed to a support member by caulking, a ring-shaped outer ring made of bearing steel disposed to surround an outer periphery of the support shaft via a plurality of bearings, a covering member made of synthetic resin covering an outer peripheral surface of the outer ring. The ring-shaped outer ring has a flange part integrally formed on an upper end of the outer peripheral surface thereof, and an upper end of the support shaft projects from an upper end surface of the ring-shaped outer ring. Therefore, even if the covering member is broken, the flange part interferes with the rail, so that falling off of the guide roller from the rail can be more reliably prevented.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 11, 2005Publication date: January 19, 2006Applicants: Daido Metal Company Ltd., Aisin Seiki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takumi Nomura, Teruo Abe, Hiroshi Naito, Yoshichika Ito

Patent number: 5636976Abstract: One or two submarine gates 23 are located at portions of a mold corresponding to one or both ends of a tip seal to be molded. Synthetic resin is injected through the submarine gates 23. When the mold is opened after the synthetic resin is solidified, a molded product is cut off and separated by shearing from a runner 22 at a tip 23a of each of the submarine gates 23. Thus, no convex portion is formed as a gate trace on the end of the tip seal as a molded product when it is cut off. When the tip seal having no convex portion on the end thereof is inserted into the mounting groove of a scroll type compressor, the tip seal exhibits an excellent sealing property. With the aforesaid method, a tip seal excellent in a sealing property can be easily manufactured.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 1995Date of Patent: June 10, 1997Assignee: Daido Metal Company Ltd.Inventors: Kosaburo Niwa, Toshio Egami, Teruo Abe

Patent number: 5575634Abstract: A sealing material for a scroll-type compressor consists essentially of, by weight, more than 20 and up to 40% PAN-system carbon fiber, 1 to 15% polytetrafluoroethylene resin, and the balance of polyphenylene sulfide resin. Further, not more than 10% hard particles formed of a copper alloy are added to the foregoing components. Thus, there can be provided a sealing material which can be applied to scroll members of a high surface hardness which have undergone Tufram process or Ni-P plating.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 1995Date of Patent: November 19, 1996Assignee: Daido Metal Company Ltd.Inventors: Tadashi Tanaka, Hidehiko Tamura, Nobutaka Hiramatsu, Toshio Egami, Teruo Abe
