  • Patent number: 9379472
Abstract: Cavities (13A) in which first terminal fittings (30A) are accommodated are at one side of shorting terminal accommodating chambers (17) arranged between cavities (13) in a height direction. Second cavities (13B) in which second terminal fittings (30B) are at the other side in the height direction. An escaping portion (23) is formed on a partition wall (22) between the shorting terminal accommodating chamber (17) and the second cavities (13B) in which the second terminal fittings (30B) are accommodated and allows resilient contact pieces (41) deformed by a short releasing portion (84) to escape. A front holder (70) is mounted on the front surface of a housing (10) and includes insulating portions (75) for insulating between the resilient contact pieces (41) and the second terminal fittings (30B) by being located at the side of the second cavities (13B) at the other side of the escaping portions (23) in the height direction.

  • Patent number: 9362661
Abstract: A connector (10) has terminal fittings (11) extending from a housing (12) and connected to a board (50). A casing (51) is mounted on the side of an upper surface (12U) of the housing (12) and covering the board (50). Liquid retaining portions (28) are formed on the upper surface (12U) of the housing (12) by connecting longitudinal grooves (29) extending in a front-back direction and horizontal grooves (31) extending in a lateral direction. Thus, the connector (10) prevents the intrusion of liquid to the board (50) along an upper surface of the housing (12).

  • Patent number: 7143969
Abstract: A decladding device of spent nuclear fuel easily and efficiently removes fuel pins from the spent nuclear fuel. Spent nuclear fuel pins P, made of austenitic stainless steel, and in which the spent nuclear fuel is filled, are fed by a feeder 7 one by one or by a unit of several pins and finely sheared into fragments by a shredder 1 having plural rotating blades 4, 5 so that fragments are of a size of 1 to 2 mm or less. The sheared fragments are separated into a fuel pin portion and a nuclear fuel portion by a magnetic separator 20. The magnetic separator 20 comprises a vibration feeder 27 feeding the sheared fragments and is arranged below the shredder 1. Without using a dissolving liquid of nitric acid, decladding is done and the spent nuclear fuel can be efficiently obtained.

  • Patent number: 5715290
Abstract: In reactor water control for a BWR power plant during an operation cycle after loading new fuel rods in the BWR power plant, an operation is performed which accelerates deposition of crud on the fuel rods until the deposition amount of the crud on the fuel rods reaches a predetermined target value within the operation cycle concerned. After the deposition amount of the crud has reached the predetermined target value, the crud deposition accelerating operation is terminated, whereby even when loading new fuel rods such as Zr liner type fuel rods having a surface on which metal ion deposition has been difficult, radioactivity in the reactor water is efficiently reduced.
