    Abstract: A joint connector includes the plurality of wires extending in an extending direction, a plurality of terminals to be respectively connected to front end parts of the plurality of wires in the extending direction, a lower housing for accommodating the plurality of terminals, a busbar to be disposed in the lower housing, and an upper cover to be assembled with the lower housing. The busbar includes a plurality of tabs. Each of the plurality of terminals includes a tube portion, into which each of the plurality of tabs is inserted, and a wire connecting portion to be connected to each of the plurality of wires. The plurality of wires drawn out rearward in the extending direction from the lower housing include bent portions folded forward in the extending direction. The upper cover includes wire pressing portions for holding the plurality of wires folded forward in the extending direction.

Each of the plurality of terminals disposed in the lower housing includes a tube portion, each of the plurality of tabs being inserted into the tube portion, sandwiching portions extending along the extending direction and configured to sandwich one of the plurality of wires, and a sliding portion disposed outside the sandwiching portions, movable along the extending direction and including pressurizing portions configured to pressurize the sandwiching portions toward the wire with the one of the plurality of wires sandwiched by the sandwiching portions.

A calculation means, when a decision means has decided that the multisession type optical disk is of an unknown type, calculates a compensated pulse width based upon the value of the difference between the average value of the intrinsic write strategy pulse widths which are stored by a strategy storage means in correspondence with the identification information, and the recommended write strategy pulse width which has been read out by the read out means. And a recording means performs recording of data with laser light which has been modulated to the compensated pulse width as calculated by the calculation means.

    Abstract: A transmitting-receiving station for use in radio wave diversity comprises two antennas (21, 31), a distributor-composer (30), and a transceiver (40), and tarder comprises a phase prefixed-adjuster (22), a level prefixed-adjuster (23), and a delayed prefixed-adjuster (24) as one of prefixed adjusters supplied between the antenna (21) and the distributor-composer (30). The two antennas have a predetermined distance therebetween for use of space-diversity. The distributor-composer connects to the two antennas on one side and a transceiver on the other side, distributes a signal to be transmitted from the transceiver, and composes two signals to be received from the two antennas. The prefixed adjuster manually adjusts and fixes each two values of phases, levels, and delay times of the signals dependent of the two antennas respectively so as to be made the same value each other on a connecting point of the distributor-composer.

    Abstract: A general-purpose electromagnetic wave shielding interior material having an excellent electromagnetic wave shielding property as well as a good interior finishing property is disclosed. A protective film made of resin is stuck onto one side surface of an electromagnetic wave shielding metal foil, and an incombustible paper sheet is stuck onto the other side surface of the same electromagnetic wave shielding foil to form a laminated sheet having the desired properties. Preferably, the electromagnetic wave shielding metal foil is exposed from the peripheral edge portion of the laminated sheet, and an overlapping margin is reserved at the peripheral edge portion of the laminated sheet.

    Abstract: A novel method for joining edge portions of electromagnetic wave shielding members is proposed. A joiner is prepared by solder-plating a surface of a narrow strip of electromagnetic wave shielding material of a metal foil or a metal sheet. The respective edge portions of adjacent electromagnetic wave shielding members made of metal sheets or metal foils are butted against each other. The solder-plated surface of the prepared joiner is superposed on the respective abutting edge portions of the electromagnetic wave shielding members. Thereafter, while the joiner is being pressed against the shielding members by a heater, the joiner is solder-welded to both of the electromagnetic wave shielding members via the solder-plated layer.
