    Abstract: A vacuum deposition device, wherein an evaporation source 2 and a deposited body 3 are disposed in a vacuum chamber 1 and a space between the evaporation source 2 and the deposited body 3 is surrounded by a tubular body 4 heated at a temperature for vaporizing the substances of the evaporation source so that the substances vaporized from the evaporation source 2 can reach the surface of the deposited body 3 through the inside of the tubular body 4 and then be deposited thereon, and a control member 8 for controllably guiding the movement of the vaporized substances to the deposited body 3 inside the tubular body 4 is installed in the tubular body 4, whereby the distribution of the vaporized substances adhered onto the deposited body can be controlled so that deposition with uniform film thickness can be performed on the deposited body and, as the case may be, the deposition can be performed with an intentionally set film thickness distribution.

    Abstract: A sequence operation processor and a sequence operation processing method for processing sequence operations at high speed using a multi-port RAM. The sequence operation processor reads data from the multi-port RAM and performs operations as instructed. An operation result which is to be written into RAM is stored in a data register and in a desired address of the multi-port RAM. If the next sequence operation requires that a different address in the multi-port RAM be read, the sequence operation processor writes the operation result to the previously desired address and simultaneously reads the data corresponding to the designated address of the next sequence operation.

    Abstract: An automotive vehicle such as, for example, an electric car is provided with a liquid heating and circulating apparatus for heating the interior of the vehicle body. The liquid heating and circulating apparatus is provided with a main tank containing liquid, a heater mounted in the main tank for heating the liquid, and a pump for circulating the liquid heated by the heater. The liquid heating and circulating apparatus is also provided with a water supply unit connected to the main tank and accommodating a pressure relief valve assembly, and an auxiliary tank connected to the water supply unit. The pressure relief valve assembly is operated according to predetermined pressures within the main tank to place the main tank in communication with the auxiliary tank.

    Abstract: In a precision drilling method for drilling a straight hole in a work with a drill, a drill unit for rotating the drill is supported to a housing in suspension by an electromagnetic force consisting of separately controllable restoring and damping elements. The drill unit is supported by first restoring and damping elements such that a positional displacement of the drill unit is permitted to relieve a contacting pressure applied to the drill unit when the drill comes into contact with the work. The positional displacement of the drill unit is monitored by sensors. When a force applied to the drill unit, which is determined according to thus monitored displacement, is greater than a critical value, the first restoring element is increased to give a relatively strong support capable of rapidly restoring the position of the drill unit, and preferably the first damping element is also increased to rapidly damp a vibration of the drill unit induced by the positional displacement.

    Abstract: In an overhead-valve type internal combustion engine, a crank chamber is connected in communication with one side portion of a valve actuating mechanism chamber through a breather passage composed of a passage inlet a passage portion, an outlet chamber and a passage outlet communicated to one another in order. The outlet chamber is formed in the space outside the one side portion of the valve actuating mechanism chamber so as to extend long in the direction of side-by-side arrangement of valve stems. The passage outlet is opened long in the direction of side-by-side arrangement of the valve stems in such a manner as to face the valve stems. A portion, on the side of the passage outlet, of the ceiling surface of the valve actuating mechanism chamber is formed as an inclined surface which increases its height dimension as it gets nearer to the side of rocker arms from the side of the passage outlet.

The polyester polyol contains polyhydric alcohol component, 50 mole % or more of which is a dihydric alcohol selected from the class (A) described below, and/or polybasic acid component, 50 mole % or more of which is a dibasic acid selected from the class (B) described below. The urethane acrylate is synthesized under such a condition that it may have two or more of (meth)acryloyl groups per molecule. Thus, improvements in electromagnetic properties and in durability are attained.
