Abstract: In the remote control device a receiver receives a signal corresponding to a command issued from a remote controller group to a control object appliance. A command string analyzing section registers in a database in a nonvolatile memory a plurality of commands received by the receiver as a command string. When a command is issued from the remote controller group, then a command issuing section retrieves a command string containing this command from the database, estimates the issued command based on the retrieval result, and issues the command. A transmitter transmits the issued command to the control object appliance as a command signal.
