  • Patent number: 6755541
Abstract: A structure for attaching a lamp cover (61) to an upper case (21), when a part (631C) of a fitting (631) is pressed downward by a pin member (P) to release engagement of the lamp cover (61) with the upper case (21). The lamp cover (61) is biased toward outside of the exterior case, so that the lamp cover (61) can be opened with one pressing action of with the pin member (P) and operation thereof can be facilitated.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 21, 2002
Date of Patent: June 29, 2004
    Assignee: Seiko Epson Corporation
Inventors: Hirohisa Nakano, Teruo Sakurai, Kiyotaka Nakano, Tsuyoshi Arai

  • Patent number: 5001080
Abstract: A semiconductor device including a substrate having a low substrate surface formed in the substrate with a first gentle slope from the substrate surface; a single crystalline layer formed on the low substrate surface nearly level with the substrate surface and having a gentle slope facing the first gentle slope; an optical semiconductor element is constructed using the single crystalline layer. An electronic semiconductor element is constructed using the substrate surface. A wiring layer connects electrodes of the optical semiconductor element and the electronic semiconductor element through the first and the second gentle slopes.

  • Patent number: 4186756
Abstract: The smoking composition referring to the reconstituted tobacco or tobacco substitute and composing of natural tobacco material and/or organic or inorganic material(s), which are combustible as raw materials, and of CMC-Na as binder, is heated at 110.degree.-240.degree. C., preferably at 150.degree.-200.degree. C., desirably for 150-5 minutes, so as to reduce the moisture content thereof to 1% and below. The smoking composition thus heating-processed exhibits a markedly superior water-resistance to the smoking composition not heating-processed, while the former exhibits equal physical properties except water-resistance and organoleptic properties to the latter.
