    Abstract: A panel used for a surface light source device is constituted by a transparent substrate having high light transmission properties, the transparent substrate having an end surface on which light emitted from a light source is incident, a reflecting surface for reflecting the incident light, and a light emitting surface for emitting the incident light. The end surface on which the light is incident may be formed in a concave-convex shape in the direction of its end side.
