    Abstract: A container for storing a magnetic tape cassette is formed by a one-piece housing, preferably molded of plastic resin and including a substantially rectangular bottom wall having side walls and a back wall directed upwardly along its opposite side and back margins to define a cavity which is open at the top for receiving a cassette and has an opening at the front of the housing through which access may be had to a cassette in the cavity for upwardly dislodging the cassette therefrom, and a top wall or lid hingedly connected, as by a thin cross-section of the plastic, to the top of the back wall for swinging between an upwardly directed opened position and a closed position in which the lid closes the cavity at the top thereof while a flange depending from the front end of the lid closes the opening at the front of the housing.
