  • Patent number: 7598753
Abstract: A human body detecting device for a vehicle includes a sensor electrode provided in a door handle arranged on outside of a vehicle door, the sensor electrode changing the electrostatic capacitance in response to an approach of human body and a determining circuit for judging whether a human body approaches or not based on the change of the electrostatic capacitance of the sensor electrode. The human body detecting device further includes an auxiliary electrode coupled capacitance-wise with the sensor electrode.

  • Patent number: 7199710
Abstract: A controller enabling switching between a smart function and an immobilizer function without using a key cylinder or a slot. The controller includes a verification ECU for transmitting a request signal to a first area and transmitting a transponder drive radio wave to a second area. The portable device transmits an ID code signal in response to the request signal or the transponder drive radio wave. The verification ECU enables the starting of an engine when the ID code transmitted from the portable device matches an ID code of the controller. The verification ECU transmits the drive radio wave when a driver operates a switch in a state in which the starting of the engine is not enabled after the request signal is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 7193334
Abstract: A controller for an electronic key system including a portable device and an engine. When the ID code of the portable device cannot be authenticated, the controller instructs the driver of the necessary operations. When a transmitter circuit is transmitting a request signal but a receiver circuit does not receive a signal including an ID code matching the ID code stored in a memory, an authentication ECU authenticates a transponder code of the portable device with a stored transponder code to enable the starting of the engine. The authentication ECU displays the necessary operations for performing transponder code authentication.

  • Patent number: 7148584
Abstract: A vehicle lock controller that is easily used. The controller is installed in a vehicle having a plurality of doors and controls locking of the doors through communication with a portable device. The controller includes transmitting circuits, each provided in association with a corresponding one of the doors to output a request signal and request the portable device to transmit a response signal. A control unit is connected to the transmitting circuits to intermittently output the request signal from each of the transmitting circuits at a predetermined cycle. The control unit determines a priority order of the transmitting circuits to set the predetermined cycle of the request signal output from each transmitting circuit in accordance with the priority order.

  • Patent number: 7057124
Abstract: A push switch apparatus includes a switch case adapted to be a base member, a switch mounted on the switch case, a switch cap made of an elastic material and supported on the switch case for covering the switch, a switch button supported by the base member and having an actuating portion for pushing the switch and an switch plate mounted on the switch case and arranged between the switch cap and the switch button. The switch plate having a contact surface contacts the switch button when the actuating portion of the switch button pushes the switch.
