  • Patent number: 10339587
Abstract: In the image processing apparatus, the image processing method, the program and the recording medium, the first product material selector selects the first product material from among the plurality of product materials in accordance with the instruction of the user. The second product material selector selects the second product material that is different from the first product material from among the plurality of product materials. The product creator creates the recommended product by applying the first image constituting at least part of the group of images to the second product material. When second images constituting at least part of the group of images are displayed on the display of the terminal device of the user in accordance with the instruction of the user, the display controller causes the recommended product to be displayed, together with the second images, on the display at least once.

  • Publication number: 20090086266
Abstract: When a print job is interrupted in an in-store terminal due to an error, such as a paper jam and shortage of consumables, or user's instruction, the in-store terminal issues a resumption receipt on which identification information of the interrupted print job is printed. When the user inputs the identification information on the resumption receipt into another in-store terminal that is supposed to resume printing, resumption order information is downloaded from the in-store terminal to the other in-store terminal, thereby immediately resuming the interrupted print job.

  • Patent number: 7245839
Abstract: A printer detects a roll radius of a recording paper roll once a day and measures the remaining amount of recording paper. Then the printer calculates the number of photo prints in the previous day as an actual consumption value from a difference in remaining amount of paper between the day and the previous day. The printer stores the actual consumption values in the form of a calendar cumulatively and creates a consumption record of the recording paper. Next, the printer estimates predicted consumption of the recording paper in a coming week based on the consumption record. And the printer predicts the time of occurrence of a paper-out condition based on the remaining amount of the recording paper and the predicted consumption. When it is predicted that the printer will be out of paper within a coming week, the printer displays a warning message on a LCD and urges a supervisor of the printer to prepare a new recording paper roll.

  • Publication number: 20070019081
Abstract: According to the present invention, image data temporarily stored in the storage section is determined as to whether it meets set photographing conditions, and the image data is recorded when found to meet the photographing conditions, while the image data is not recorded and is deleted when found not to meet the photographing conditions. In addition, photographing is repeated until an image data meeting the desired photographing conditions is obtained. Therefore, automatic selection and recording of image data that meet desired photographing conditions becomes possible. In addition, the present invention eliminates the need to repeat the processes of photographing and image confirmation, and prevents occurrences of photographing failures due to image confirmation taking place instead of the shutter being released upon a photographic opportunity, thereby ensuring that images meeting photographing conditions are obtained.

  • Publication number: 20050157331
Abstract: A photo provider system consists of an order reception server and a number of printers, and is installed in such recreational facilities as an amusement park. The printers are placed in individual Areas of the recreational facilities. The order reception server receives print orders of the photographed images from a camera that serves as a portable print order terminal for a visitor to carry it about. The order reception server also detects the location of the camera on the basis of the position data sent from the camera and determines the area where an ordered exists. Furthermore, the order reception server composes the photographed images with ornamental images linked with attractions or characters of the determined area, and orders the nearest printer to the orderer to print the composite images.
