    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a television includes a display apparatus, a casing, a tuner and a support section. The display apparatus includes a display screen. The casing exhibits a static inhibiting effect. The casing houses the display apparatus and includes a first face section provided with an opening through which the display screen is exposed and a second face section positioned at the opposite side of the casing to the first face section. The tuner is housed in the casing. The support section exhibits a static inhibiting effect and supports the casing.
