  • Patent number: 5344129
Abstract: A fluid-filled elastic mount including an elastic body elastically connecting a first and a second support, and partially defining a fluid chamber filled with a non-compressible fluid. The elastic mount includes an oscillating plate which partially defines the fluid chamber and which is displaceable to change a pressure of the fluid in the fluid chamber, and a permanent magnet disposed on one of opposite sides of the oscillating plate remote from the fluid chamber. A first and a second yoke member are connected to opposite magnetic pole faces of the magnet by a plastic material, and cooperate with the magnet to define a closed magnetic circuit. The yoke members define therebetween an annular gap in the magnetic circuit, in which a magnetic fluid and an annular moving coil are received. The magnetic fluid includes magnetic particles dispersed in a liquid medium. The coil is fixed to the oscillating plate, to oscillate the oscillating plate upon energization of the coil.

  • Patent number: 5277409
Abstract: A fluid-filled elastic mount wherein an elastic body elastically connecting a first and a second support partially defines a fluid chamber filled with a non-compressible fluid. The elastic mount includes an oscillating plate which partially defines the fluid chamber and which is supported by the second support such that the oscillating plate is displaceable relative to the second support, and an actuator for oscillating the oscillating plate to thereby change a pressure of the fluid in the fluid chamber. The elastic mount further includes an elastic support member for flexibly connecting the oscillating plate to the second support such that the oscillating plate is movable toward and away from the fluid chamber. This elastic support member is formed of an elastic material which substantially permits shearing deformation of the elastic support member and inhibits its compressive and tensile deformation.

  • Patent number: 5261649
Abstract: A fluid-filled elastic mount wherein an elastic body which elastically connects an inner and an outer sleeve partially defines a pressure-receiving chamber filled with a non-compressible fluid, and an oscillating plate is provided to partially define an auxiliary fluid chamber which cooperates with the pressure-receiving chamber to form a fluid chamber. Two yoke members are connected to respective opposite pole faces of a permanent magnet disposed on one of opposite sides of the oscillating plate remote from the fluid chamber. The yoke members, which cooperate with the permanent magnet to define a closed magnetic circuit, define therebetween an annular gap in the magnetic circuit, in which is received an annular moving coil fixed to the oscillating plate. The coil is axially displaced in the gap to oscillate the oscillating plate upon energization of the coil.

  • Patent number: 5249782

The elastic mount includes an oscillating plate which partially defines the fluid chamber and which is displaceable to change a pressure of the fluid in the fluid chamber, and a permanent magnet disposed on one of opposite sides of the oscillating plate remote from the fluid chamber. The permanent magnet is made of a plastic magnetic material including a magnetic material and a plastic material as a binder for the magnetic material. First and second yoke members are held in contact with opposite magnetic pole faces of the magnet, and cooperate with the magnet to define a close magnetic circuit. The yoke members define therebetween an annular gap in the magnetic circuit, in which an annular moving coil is received. The coil is fixed to the oscillating plate, to oscillate the oscillating plate upon energization of the coil.

  • Patent number: 5165195
Abstract: A float for a fishing operation including a cylindrical column-shaped float body, conical end portions projecting outward of opposite ends of the float body, at least first and second through holes and a guide line for securing a fishing line to the float by pulling the guide line through the first and second through holes. The first through hole extends slantwise from the apex of one conical end portion to the cylindrical peripheral surface of the float body, while the second through hole extends slantwise from the apex of the other conical end portion to the cylindrical peripheral surface of the float body. The guide line is folded back to assume a two-line arrangement while forming a small loop at its foremost end. The foremost end of the fishing line is engaged with the loop of the guide line. Then, the fishing line is introduced through the first and second through holes by pulling the guide line, whereby the fishing line is firmly secured to the float at a required position.

  • Patent number: 4648576
Abstract: A mounting structure disposed between a body and a power unit of a vehicle, including a cylindrical housing having two cavities on opposite side of a partition member, and a first and a second elastic member which close open ends of the cavities to form a first and a second variable-volume fluid chamber which are filled with an incompressible fluid. The first and second fluid chambers communicate with each other through an orifice which permits a restricted flow of the fluid therethrough. The elastic members and the orifice enable the mounting structure to damp or absorb vibrations applied thereto.
