Patent number: 9550648Abstract: A booklet making method includes: cutting a web of paper on one side and on another side into first and second continuous sheets, alternately bonding the first and second continuous sheets widthwise with a setting paste and a throwaway paste to form a double set continuous sheet of paper, and cutting the double set continuous sheet of paper into split double sheets of a selected longitudinal length. A plurality of split double sheets is integrally bound with an integrating paste to form a booklet-like product. Portions of the booklet-like product which are pasted and bonded with the throwaway paste are cut off to provide a plurality of booklets. Thus, by the booklet making method, booklets having an odd number of leaves or pages are formed without waste of paper and with reduced paper jams.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2014Date of Patent: January 24, 2017Assignee: MIYAKOSHI PRINTING MACHINERY CO., LTD.Inventors: Tetsu Ohno, Hiroshi Mutou, Tsutomu Aburaya, Toshihiro Saga

Patent number: 4604146Abstract: A process for manufacturing a high tensile steel wire, characterized by comprising the steps of pre-cooling a hot-rolled steel rod to a temperature between 750.degree.-900.degree. C. by means of a cooling apparatus provided between a group of intermediate rolling mills and a group of finishing rolling mills in a hot rolling line for steel rod, finishing rolling the thus pre-cooled steel rod, quenching the hot rolled steel rod to a temperature of 700.degree. C. or lower to provide a supercooled austenite phase, then finishing-cooling the thus quenched rod to provide martensite, and drawing the resulting steel rod with roller dies without descaling is disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: November 7, 1983Date of Patent: August 5, 1986Assignee: Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Akira Aida, Tetsu Ohno, Takashi Fukuda, Kenji Aihara, Takuo Mizoguchi, Syozi Nishimura, Katsuyoshi Kajiyama
