  • Patent number: 7895752
Abstract: A method comprising: a step of preforming a plurality of bulging portions on a substantially circular plate blank, the bulging portions being located concentrically and circumferentially outward of a bolt hole, each of the bulging portions being a base of a reinforcing portion of a spoke; a step of forming a plurality of prototypical decorative holes on the respective bulging portions to form a prototypically-shaped spoke between the adjacent prototypical decorative holes; a step of forming a disk flange by bending an outer circumferential portion of the plate blank, on which the prototypical decorative holes are formed, at a right angle to be substantially parallel to a wheel axial direction, so that an outer periphery of a resultant decorative hole forms an upper end edge of the disk flange; and a step of forming the spoke by providing the prototypically-shaped spoke with the reinforcing portion.

  • Patent number: 5219606
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an output phosphor screen for x-ray image intensifier is disclosed. The method includes the steps of dropping a dispersion of infusible spherical silicon resin particles on a water surface to form an aggregate layer of the infusible spherical silicon resin particles on the water surface. Thereafter, the aggregate layer of infusible spherical silicon resin particles in adhered on a face plate. The adhered aggregate layer is the calcinated in an atmosphere containing oxygen at a temperature of not less than 500.degree. C. to change the aggregate layer of infusible spherical silicone resin particles into a layer of spherical silica particles. A phosphor layer is then formed on the spherical silica particle layer.

  • Patent number: 4433230
Abstract: A vacuum vessel, used for such as an X-ray image intensifier, is provided with a radiation-permeable window member prepared from titanium or alloys thereof. The window member is supported on a support frame of iron or alloys thereof by resistance welding. A method of manufacturing the vacuum vessel comprises the steps of: successively spot welding the periphery of the window member by resistive heating to a support frame made of iron or alloys thereof with a pressure of 40-200 kg/cm.sup.2 while interposing a metal foil insert member having a lower melting point than the transformation point of the window member between the window member and the support frame; and hermetically sealing the periphery of the window member in the support frame.
