  • Publication number: 20230121429
Abstract: A laser processor includes a machining head and a cartridge configured to be inserted in the machining head. The machining head includes an optical path of a laser beam, a pressing member, and a stopper surface. The cartridge is configured to be pressed along the optical path toward the stopper surface by the pressing member when the cartridge is in the machining head. The cartridge includes an optical component configured to be positioned in the optical path when the cartridge is in the machining head. The optical component has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface along the optical path, a first member configured to contact the first surface of the optical component and the pressing member, and a second member configured to contact the second surface of the optical component and the stopper surface.

  • Publication number: 20220134482
Abstract: A laser working machine includes a first slot provided at another end portion of a first body. In the first slot, either one of a first shielding plate and a first light transmissive plate is selectively insertable in a sealed manner. The first shielding plate is configured to block a first optical path. The first light transmissive plate has a first optical path hole through which the first optical path and a second optical path are connectable. The laser working machine includes a second slot provided at a second body end portion of a second body. In the second slot, either one of a second shielding plate and a second light transmissive plate is selectively insertable in a sealed manner. The second shielding plate is configured to block the second optical path. The second light transmissive plate has a second optical path hole.

  • Publication number: 20040159643
Abstract: Laser beam radiating means has a center electrode at an inner periphery of an annular electrode. Center electrode potential control means controls potential of the center electrode so as to keep zero (0) or positive constant voltage, so that it is possible to absorb charged particles in plasma generating by radiation of laser beam through the center electrode, and dispersion of plasma can be restricted thereby. Even if a large volume of plasma is generated, a line of electric force from the annular electrode is not disturbed by plasma, and the variation of capacitance generating between the annular electrode and a workpiece can be prevented, thereby.

  • Patent number: 6124565
Abstract: A laser cutting machine includes a driving apparatus for moving a laser head axially. An inner sleeve having a converging lens is coupled to the laser head. An outer sleeve having a nozzle is supported to move relative to the inner sleeve. A braking mechanism is arranged between the inner and outer sleeves to selectively lock the outer sleeve to the inner sleeve. An actuator moves a catch to selectively engage the outer sleeve, which holds the outer sleeve at a predetermined position. The driving apparatus moves the laser head when the outer sleeve is held at the predetermined position and the outer sleeve is released from the inner sleeve by the braking mechanism. This moves the outer sleeve relative to the inner sleeve and automatically adjusts the distance between the converging lens and the nozzle. This permits automation of a focal point position adjustment method.
