  • Patent number: 6556359
Abstract: A lens unit has an opening to incorporate first and second movable lens frames at a side other than an image side and an object side. The first movable lens frame has a first through hole to slide oil a first guide shaft and a second through hole to slide on a second guide shaft. The second movable lens frame has a first through hole and a second through hole one of which slides on a third guide shaft. The length of the first through hole of the first movable lens frame is longer than that of the second through of the first movable lens frame and the length of the first through hole of the second movable lens frame is longer than that of the second through hole portion of the second movable lens frame.

  • Patent number: 5768038
Abstract: A device for moving a lens includes a lens frame; a guiding member for guiding the lens frame; a signal generator for generating an electric signal; a piezoelectric vibrator for moving the lens frame along the guiding member by vibration according to the electric signal; a supporter for supporting the piezoelectric vibrator; a pressure surface to be in pressure contact with the piezoelectric vibrator; and pressure member for bringing the piezoelectric vibrator into pressure contact with the pressure surface.

  • Patent number: 5748394
Abstract: A lens driving device includes a lens frame for holding a photographic lens; a guide member for guiding the lens frame in a direction of an optical axis of the lens; a lead screw for moving the lens frame in the optical axis direction; a drive source for rotating the lead screw; and a carriage for being in pressure contact with the lead screw and thereby for converting a rotational motion of the lead screw caused by the drive source to a linear motion in a direction parallel to the optical axis direction which is a moving direction of the guide member. When pressure contact points between the carriage and the lead screw are projected onto a plane perpendicular to a rotational axis of the lead screw, a projected image includes at least three pressure contact points.

  • Patent number: 5650879
Abstract: A lens apparatus in which plural lenses, each having a different expansion coefficient to others, are adhered to each other at their lens surfaces and some of the plural lenses, which has a smaller expansion coefficient than other lenses and the number of which is fewer than the total number of the plural lenses, are coupled with a lens barrel so that all of the plural lenses are supported by the lens barrel.

  • Patent number: 5459544
Abstract: A camera for exposing photosensitive medium such as a film and a CCD. The camera includes: a lens system for forming a light image on the photosensitive medium; a portion of the camera which requires a control mechanism for a better result of exposing such as an aperture control, an exposure control, a zooming control, and a shutter control; and a driver means for driving such the control mechanism. The driver includes a shape memory alloy member having a first position where said shape memory alloy member is recovered, and a second position where said shape memory alloy member is deformed; and an alloy driving circuit for actuating the shape memory alloy member to the first position.

  • Patent number: 5177638
Abstract: A main body of a zoom lens barrel, which accommodates a zoom lens system having lens components movable in the direction of the optical axis, is composed of a housing having an opening on one side wall in parallel with the optical axis. At least the movable lens components of the zoom lens system can be assembled in the housing through the opening. The housing, accommodating movable lens components of the zoom lens system, is composed of a single element.
