    Abstract: A display device in which a peripheral circuit portion has high operation stability is provided. The display device includes a first substrate and a second substrate. A first insulating layer is provided over a first surface of the first substrate. A second insulating layer is provided over a first surface of the second substrate. The first surface of the first substrate and the first surface of the second substrate face each other. An adhesive layer is provided between the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer. A protective film in contact with the first substrate, the first insulating layer, the adhesive layer, the second insulating layer, and the second substrate is formed in the vicinity of a peripheral portion of the first substrate and the second substrate.

The frame member is composed of an inner frame part, and an outer frame part disposed around the inner frame part. A light extraction part is formed between the outer frame part and the inner frame part. The inner frame part is constituted by a separate extraction part that extracts acoustic vibrations and light. A space of the separate extraction part includes, on both ends, a sound intake port on an internal space side where a sound source is disposed, and a sound extraction port formed in the top of the inner frame part so as to open toward the outside of an LED illumination device. The sound intake port and the sound extraction port are formed separated from each other by a prescribed distance, and the space is formed continuously in the inner frame part so as to connect the sound intake port and the sound extraction port.

An LED light source, which is arranged inside a light guide space, emits light with a light emitting face thereof directing toward the light guide space. Accordingly, light from the LED light source is uniformly emitted from a light extraction portion. Also, an LED light source arranged inside a light guide space emits light directing toward the light guide space. Accordingly, light from the LED light source is uniformly emitted from a light extraction portion.

    Abstract: Before bonding abrasive grain to a core wire, a palladium coating is applied to the surface of the abrasive grain. The palladium coating is formed as a sea on the surface of the diamond grains. In other words, the palladium coating covers the surface of the diamond grains so that the entirety thereof is continuous. Moreover, the palladium coating does not completely cover the diamond grains, and a diamond exposed portion is provided by the palladium coating not being applied on a portion thereof. The exposed diamond portion is formed as an island on the surface of the abrasive grain. In other words, a plurality of diamond exposed portions are formed as islands separated from each other.
