  • Patent number: 8261809
Abstract: A method for moving an upper mold against a lower mold in a mold casting machine having a mold clamping mechanism attached to a lifting and lowering frame. The mechanism has an upper mold lifting and lowering device that assembles and separates the upper and lower molds by lifting and lowering the upper mold relative to the lower mold and the frame. A space for a setting a core and for taking out products is formed between the upper and lower molds by lifting the device relative to the frame, and by lifting the frame relative to the lower mold. Then the frame is lowered until the upper mold comes close to the lower mold. Thereafter the upper mold is lowered by the device to form an assembled mold, molten metal is introduced into the mold and after the metal has solidified the upper mold is lifted by the device, all while the frame is kept fixed relative to the lower mold.

  • Patent number: 6574376
Abstract: An arithmetic unit for image transformation for transforming a fisheye image obtained by using a fisheye lens into a plane image for display, comprising: a first coordinate calculating unit for obtaining first projection coordinates derived by projecting coordinates on the plane image onto a fisheye image face as an imaginary object face; and a second coordinate calculating unit for obtaining second projection coordinates derived by projecting the first projection coordinates obtained by the first coordinate calculating unit onto the fisheye image face.

  • Patent number: 4741381
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of and an apparatus for automatically controlling the pressure in a holding furnace incorporated in a low pressure die-casting system in accordance with a desired pattern. A proportional pressure control valve operated by a microcomputer is provided in a pressurized gas supply circuit for supplying pressurized gas into the holding furnace. The pressure in the holding furnace is changed in accordance with a pattern which is as close as possible to a desired pressurization pattern by sending to the proportional pressure control valve a command value obtained by adding to an input command value of the proportional pressure control valve a correction value calculated by a predetermined computing method.
