Patent number: 7356910Abstract: A method for manufacturing a rotation angle detector is provided. An insulator is mounted on a sensor core. A plurality of winding slackening pins are disposed at predetermined positions between a plurality of teeth and a plurality of terminal pins so as to project out of the a first surface side of the insulator. A first and second conductor wire are wound so as to dispose a first and second lead wire portion of each conductor wire wound on the teeth under tension between the teeth and the terminal pin by hooking each wire lead portion onto a winding hooking pin and a winding slackening pin. The winding slackening pins are removed so that the first and second lead wire portions have a predetermined amount of slack.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2005Date of Patent: April 15, 2008Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Satoru Akutsu, Tetsunao Takaki, Hideki Megata, Toshinori Tanaka, Takeshi Sugiyama

Patent number: 7202585Abstract: A brushless motor is capable of increasing output torque while suppressing an increase in iron loss. A plurality of magnets are magnetized in reverse radial orientation in such a manner that magnetic fields directed toward a stator converge toward the stator, and each of the magnets is provided at opposite ends of its outer peripheral surface with a pair of notched portions that are cut away to gradually approach in an axial direction as they proceed from an intermediate portion to the opposite ends.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 2004Date of Patent: April 10, 2007Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Katsumi Ohata, Masatsugu Nakano, Tetsunao Takaki

Patent number: 7164978Abstract: A vehicle electro-hydraulic power steering unit includes: a steering mechanism steering a steering wheel in a steering direction; an electro-hydraulic pump; a piston mechanism assisting the steering mechanism in a steering direction; a hydraulic circuit causing an assist force to be generated in response to the steering of the steering mechanism; and a control unit controlling a motor based on an output signal from a vehicle speed sensor, a torque sensor, and a steering angle sensor. In this power steering unit, driving the motor is started when a steering torque exceeds a set torque threshold, and the torque threshold to be set is changed depending on operating conditions. Thus, a vehicle electro-hydraulic power steering unit improved in fuel consumption is obtained.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2004Date of Patent: January 16, 2007Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tetsunao Takaki, Masayasu Miyajima, Toshinori Tanaka, Kiyohide Okamoto

Patent number: 6936949Abstract: A rotation angle detector includes a stator core (2) comprised of a plurality of core sheets (4) each having plural core members (4a) each including a tooth and a yoke portion (5a, . . . , 5h, 4b) disposed in a strip-like array with adjacent core members being coupled to one another by coupling means (4d) at yoke end portion. The core member is laminated. The stator core is shaped into an annular form by bending the core members at coupled portions so that the tooth portions extend centrally while capable of extending substantially linearly upon expansion thereof. An exciting winding (8) and output windings (9, 10) of n phases are wound on the tooth portions. A rotor core (3) is disposed rotatably relative to the stator core such that gap permeance between the rotor core and the tooth portions changes sinusoidally as a function of the rotation angle.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2002Date of Patent: August 30, 2005Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Satoru Akutsu, Tetsunao Takaki, Masafumi Okazaki, Toshinori Tanaka, Akira Hashimoto, Kazuyuki Yamamoto, Takeshi Sugiyama, Hideki Megata
