The acquisition section acquires program information containing an ID that is assigned to a broadcast program by a broadcaster and a broadcast date and time. The transmission section transmits, to a server apparatus that manages the broadcast program using identification information formed by combination of the ID and the broadcast date and time, a request containing the identification information formed by combination of the ID and the broadcast date and time that are contained in the program information.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an information processing apparatus adapted for processing contents provided by contents distribution service. To contents distributed by a contents server (12), a sublicense which prescribes utilization conditions of the respective contents is added. From a license server (13), a main license which prescribes utilization condition of the entirety of contents distributed via channel that user contracts is provided. In the broadcast receiver according to the present invention, a single set of highlight scene, or plural sets of highlight scenes, are detected from a broadcast program provided to the audience, and then stored in a storage device. Thereafter, when a CM broadcast program is commenced, the highlight scene is read out from the storage device and is reproduced.
