  • Publication number: 20020171413
Abstract: An object of a galvanometer mirror of the present invention is to offer excellent driving characteristics in which when a mirror is driven to tilt, the center of torque acting on a moving body can be set in the vicinity of the center of the moving body. A mirror 6 is firmly fixed in a depression at the front of a rectangular frame-like mirror holder 18 constituting the moving body. First and second coils 21 and 22 are attached on the outer circumferential surface of the mirror holder 18 in the back-and-forth direction thereof at both sides of a plane passing through the center of gravity G of the moving body and parallel to the surface of the mirror. The moving body is rotatably supported by springs 23 so that a rotation axis 9 and another rotation axis orthogonal to the rotation axis 9 pass through the center of gravity G.

  • Publication number: 20010019529
Abstract: An optical element supporting device has one ends of two parallel plate springs, which are extended in a tangential direction, fixed to a holder, has the other ends thereof fixed to a fixture member, and has a collimator lens locked in an opening of the holder. A base fixed to the bottom of the fixture member has two yokes formed thereon. Magnets each polarized in two directions are fixed to the insides of the yokes. Coils are fixed to two surfaces of the holder opposed to the magnets. A target is fixed to the holder, and a sensor is fixed to the bottom of the base. When a current flows into the coils, electromagnetic force is produced along an optical axis due to the interaction between the coils and the magnets opposed to the coils. This causes the parallel plate springs to loosen. Consequently, the holder, target, collimator lens, and coils move as a whole along the optical axis.

  • Patent number: 6061164
Abstract: The portion close to a rotation axis, of an S-shaped spring portion of a spring consisting of a plate material and supporting a movable member has a narrow width and a portion distant from the rotation axis has a large width. Therefore, if the movable member is rotated, the portion close to the rotation axis has a small spring constant due to bending deformation in the plate thickness direction. If the movable member is moved in other directions, the respective parts of the spring have a large spring constant due to bending deformation and shearing deformation in the surface direction. The accuracy of the supporting spring apparatus is thereby enhanced.

  • Patent number: 6046866
Abstract: A terminal portion as a plate-like attachment portion is formed on a spring made of a plate material supporting a movable member. These portions are molded integrally at the center plane of the fixed member. Deformation due to temperature changes or external forces is prevented by bending rigidity in the surface direction of the terminal portion. This deformation is arranged to be symmetrical deformation with respect to the center plane as a center, which is the terminal portion. In this manner, the rigidity of the movable member is increased to prevent deformation and to improve the precision.

  • Patent number: 6008924
Abstract: A supporting surface is formed on a portion of a base member of a galvanomirror in a direction parallel to the reflection surface of a mirror. A galvanomirror container section opened in a direction parallel to the reflection surface is formed in a carriage and a bearing seat surface is formed inside the galvanomirror container section. The center axes of the supporting surface and of the bearing seat surface are aligned to the direction parallel to the reflection surface. Only by inserting the galvanomirror into the galvanomirror container section from the direction parallel to the reflection surface, the supporting surface abuts on the bearing seat surface 29. As a result, a mounting apparatus for mounting the galvanomirror 20 into the carriage 2 while adjusting the inclination of the reflection surface can be made small and the structure thereof can be simplified.

  • Patent number: 5933406
Abstract: Holding parts are formed on a base just inside the parts fixing both ends of a guide rail on the base. The holding parts are provided with respective U-shaped channels which are so formed as to surround the guide rail with a space. A damping material is put between the guide rail and the channel and also, put in a wedge-shaped space surrounded by a receiving face, a mounting face and a D-cut part provided at each of both ends of a guide rail. The structure of the present invention enables reduction of the vibration conveyed from a recording/regenerating head to a chassis, securely fixing a guide rail and preventing lean of the optical axis of the recording/regenerating head.
