  • Publication number: 20020005996
Abstract: An objective lens is made up of a light-source-side lens and a medium-side lens wherein at least either one of rim portions of respective opposing surfaces of the light-source-side lens and the medium-side lens forms a rise-up section projected towards the other lens, the rim portion which forms the rise-up section and the rim portion of the other lens at least partially contact one another, and these two lens are fixed together by an adhesive resin layer formed in a spacing between the respective rim portions. With the foregoing structure, an objective lens made up of a pair of lenses which has high rigidity as a whole and is capable of high speed recording and reproducing by suppressing adverse effects of resonance can be realized.

  • Patent number: 6108036
Abstract: A single imaging apparatus is adapted to pick up both a motion image and a still image. In an imaging apparatus 1, image light from an object is separated into multiple monochromatic image light components by an optical system 3 and then imaged by an imaging means 4 for generation of an original image signal. The imaging apparatus 1 switches an imaging mode depending upon an output mode. The optical system 3 switches the sate of a variable spatial filter 18 depending upon an imaging mode thereby changing an effect for limiting the spatial frequency. In an output mode for motion images, an interpolative synthesizer circuit 7 generates the output image signal from a single original image signal. In an output mode for still image, an image shift mechanism 19 parallely shifts the optical axis of the incoming image light while the imaging means captures the original image light multiple times so that an output image is produced from these original image signals.

  • Patent number: 5834761
Abstract: The Invention is an image input apparatus equipped with means of image shifting which is capable of inputting images of different resolutions, and enables the transmission band of the spatial filter to be switched in accordance with resolution in order to prevent moire. When a flat transparent refraction plate 22 is inclined relative to the optical axis 10 by which light from the object is introduced, the position where the image is formed on the imaging surface of the CCD 14 is shifted, thus making image shifting possible. High resolution images are obtained by shifting the image a distance shorter than the distance between the photosensitive parts of the CCD 14, and then combining the images. The transmission band of the spatial filter 12 for preventing moire can be switched by changing the relative angles of the double refraction plates 20, 21.

  • Patent number: 5668746
Abstract: Low-frequency components of a reproduced modulated signal is attenuated by an analog high-pass filter. The modulated signal with its low-frequency components attenuated is converted into a digital signal by means of an A/D converter. Then, the digital signal is directly introduced to a finite impulse response digital filter to be subjected to reproduced waveform equalization. Thereafter, the attenuation of the low-frequency components effected by the analog high-pass filter is compensated in an infinite impulse response digital filter.

  • Patent number: 5517369
Abstract: In a multi-track magnetic signal reproducing apparatus, a plurality of MR heads including MR (Magneto Resistance Effect) elements are provided correspondingly to tracks on a magnetic tape. At the time of reproduction, constant current from a constant current power supply is sequentially supplied as pulse-shaped current for detecting a signal to each MR element by a switching operation by switch in response to a prescribed clock signal, and output voltage from each MR element related to reproduction of a magnetic signal on a corresponding track is sequentially provided to one input side of a differential amplifier. In differential amplifier, the offset voltage of each MR element provided to the other input side and the above-described output voltage are differentially amplified and only voltage due to the reproducing magnetic signal of each track is accurately extracted.

  • Patent number: 5173815
Abstract: A recording position compensation circuit for use in the digital information recording-reproduction apparatus of the present disclosure has a microprocessor for generating an offset signal indicating a deviation between standard signal processing time, which is required for a process wherein digital medium information already recorded on the recording medium is reproduced through the advanced reproduction head and re-recorded on the recording medium through the recording head, and inter-head travelling time required for the recording medium to travel a distance from the advanced reproduction head to the recording head. A first counter generates a reference symbol pointer indicating a reference of a sequence whereby digital information stored in the memory is read out so that a part of the digital information is rewritten. A second counter generates a compensated symbol pointer having a phase difference corresponding to the deviation with respect to the reference symbol pointer.

  • Patent number: 4812987
Abstract: A wave shaping circuit includes a digital sampling circuit for sampling an input signal and producing a digital signal. The sampled signal is detected by a sign detector for detecting whether it is positive or negative. A unit difference generator is provided for generating a unit difference which is equal to a difference increased, during one sampling cycle, in a positive or negative direction as detected by the sign detector. A register is provided for storing a summed difference obtained in the previous sampling cycle. The summed difference is multiplied by a predetermined coefficient which is between 0 and 1 so that the product changes exponentially. A first adder is provided for adding the summed difference multiplied by the coefficient with the unit difference. The added result is stored in the register. A second adder is provided for adding the sampled input signal with the summed signal stored in the register, and producing a corrected signal.
