  • Patent number: 11066724
Abstract: A method for separating metal components from a treatment material containing a silicate and metal elements includes: a reaction step of reacting the treatment material and a molten alkali hydroxide in which bubbles due to water vapor derived from water are generated by heating a hydroxide of an alkali metal or an alkaline-earth metal and the water in a state where the hydroxide and the water coexist, to obtain a reaction product; and a first precipitation step of dissolving the reaction product of the treatment material and the molten alkali hydroxide after the reaction step in water, thereby generating a precipitate containing the metal elements.

  • Publication number: 20120132034
Abstract: Process for producing a refined metal or metalloid, comprising: an electrolysis step of, in an electrolytic bath set in a container for an electrolysis in which a material comprising a metal element or metalloid element and impurities acts as an anode, and an alloy comprising the same metal element or metalloid element as the metal element or metalloid element and a medium metal that does not substantially form a solid solution with the metal element or metalloid element and having a complete solidification temperature lower than the melting point of the metal element or metalloid element acts as a cathode, performing electrolysis at a temperature at which the alloy can be a liquid phase; withdrawing a part or the whole of the alloy of the cathode to an outside of the container; cooling the withdrawn alloy at a temperature higher than the complete solidification temperature and lower than the electrolysis temperature; and a recovery step.

  • Publication number: 20070111143
Abstract: To make it possible to fix various organic molecules in an arbitrary configuration or arrangement on a micro/nano scale as a cheap and simple process by irradiating a photocurable resin containing an organic molecule on a substrate with light, thereby curing the photocurable resin in a given pattern and removing an uncured portion, thereby fixing the organic molecule in the given pattern on the substrate.

  • Patent number: 4912746
Abstract: Since the DC linear brushless motor is constructed based on a principle that an ordinary DC brushless motor is developed into a linear shape, it is inevitable that its stator should have a large number of permanent magnets arrayed linearly and the adjacent poles of which are separated by many gaps, in addition, that its armature core has a finite length at each end in the direction of the travel of the moving member. Both the gaps or boundaries between adjacent magnetic poles of the stator and the teeth slots as well as the both ends in the armature core result in synthesized detent thrusts, and these detent thrusts are not preferable for applying this type linear motor to OA devices or precise measuring device.

  • Patent number: 4908533
Abstract: A transporting apparatus using a linear motor comprises at least a primary unit and a secondary unit. The primary unit faces the secondary unit with a predetermined gap. The primary unit consists of a core and coils supplied with three-phase alternating currents so that the primary unit generates a progressive magnetic field. The secondary unit at least includes a core and permanent magnets. These permanent magnets are magnetized so that each section of the secondary unit is magnetized in a north pole and a south pole in turn along a longtitudinal direction thereof. Hence, the primary unit can be transported along the secondary unit by controlling the currents supplied to the primary unit.

  • Patent number: 4868431
Abstract: The present invention is related to a linear motor which is composed of mainly:(a) an elongated primary magnetic member for generating a traveling magnetic field traveling along the length;(b) a secondary magnetic member for generating a stationary magnetic field, the secondary magnetic means having an elongated core, pair of permanent magnets attached to the core so as to sandwich the core from upper and lower sides, each pair being spaced constantly from each other, direction of polarity of the magnets forming a pair coinciding to each other, direction of polarity interchanging in turn from one pair to another; and(c) a support member supporting one of the primary magnetic member and the secondary magnetic member against the other so that the former is slidable along its axis against the latter.
