  • Publication number: 20060256241
Abstract: A television receiver according to the present invention successively transmits the same transmission command to external devices (1a)˜(3b) connected through IEEE (1394) lines and HDMI lines, and monitors the DC levels of HDMI terminals to which the respective HDMI lines are connected, thereby to discriminate the HDMI lines used for transmission of response commands that are outputted from the respective BD recorders (1b)˜(3b) in response to the transmission commands, and then automatically performs switching between the IEEE (1394) lines and the HDMI lines which are used by the respective BD recorders (1b)˜(3b), according to the operations of the BD recorders (1b)˜(3b).

  • Patent number: 5182075
Abstract: A structure of a nuclear fusion reactor having a vacuum vessel in which hydrogen isotope plasma is enclosed and a confining magnetic field generating coil for confining said plasma at a predetermined position in said vacuum vessel. It comprises a low tritium-permeable layer having lower tritium-permeability than that of a cooling metal base for forming a refrigerant passage for cooling the vacuum vessel on at least the surface adjacent to said plasma enclosed and a heat resistant and insulating fire member of the level higher than that of said cooling metal base for thermally shielding said low tritium-permeable layer from said plasma or corpuscular rays is formed on the low tritium-permeable layer. The similar processings are applied to the cooling metal base for forming the refrigerant passage for cooling a divertor disposed in the vacuum vessel and for neutralizing ionized corpuscles so as to exhaust them.

  • Patent number: 4950719
Abstract: A rubber composition which gives a rubber vibration insulator having excellent low-temperature properties comprises as a main rubber component a blend composed of (a) 10 to 90 parts by weight of a tapered styrene/butadiene copolymer rubber which has an average bound styrene content of 10 to 40% by weight and a 1,2-bond content in the butadiene portion of at least 50% by weight and in which the bound styrene content increases or decreases in one direction along the copolymer molecular chain and (b) 90 to 10 parts by weight of natural rubber and/or synthetic polyisoprene rubber.

  • Patent number: 4114243
Abstract: In a process for producing a cathode for a cathode ray tube of directly heating type, which comprises shaping a heat-resistant and electro-conductive, flat metal plate, into a cathode substrate body having two leg pieces extended in the same direction and a flat part connected to one end of each leg piece, forming a heat-diffusible metal powder layer having a good affinity to said flat metal plate and on an outer surface of said flat part, heating the powder layer, thereby diffusion bonding the powder layer to the flat part and forming a bonding layer having an uneven surface, to which a thermionic emission layer is to be bonded, and forming the thermionic emission layer on the surface of the bonding layer, the process is characterized by forming on said flat metal plate a metal layer having a good affinity to the flat metal plate, by diffusion bonding, thereby forming a compound plate, and shaping the resulting compound plate into the shape of said cathode substrate body.
