  • Patent number: 9184473
Abstract: A temperature control method is used for controlling a temperature of an electric storage device 5 mounted on a vehicle 1 at the time when the vehicle 1 runs on a track 2. In the method, when a minimum voltage value Vmin corresponding to an internal resistance R of the electric storage device 5 reaches a first predetermined voltage value Vp near a minimum allowable voltage value VL of the electric storage device 5, the electric storage device 5 is controlled such that the electric storage device 5 has a temperature at which the minimum voltage value Vmin is maintained at the first predetermined voltage value Vp.

  • Patent number: 8836271
Abstract: A charging method is used for a transportation vehicle without a contact wire. The transportation vehicle is configured so that when a vehicle (1) equipped with an energy storage device (5) stops at a station on a track (2), the energy storage device (5) of the vehicle (1) is charged by a charging device (9) provided on a ground side. The charging method includes charging, by the charging device (9), the energy storage device (5) with a voltage set value (VS) which is near a maximum allowable voltage value (VH) of the energy storage device (5).

  • Patent number: 8758760
Abstract: The present invention provides an oral vaccine against a bacterial infectious disease (e.g., typhoid fever, cholera, or dysentery). The oral vaccine of the present invention is a capsule formulation in which a transformed microorganism that expresses a flagellin antigen protein or that secretes a flagellin antigen protein out of the cell of the microorganism is encapsulated with an acid-resistant membrane. Examples of the microorganism include intestinal bacteria belonging to the genus Bifidobacterium, the genus Lactobacillus, the genus Lactococcus, and the like. The form of the capsule formulation may be any one of a seamless capsule formulation, a soft capsule formulation, and a hard capsule formulation.

  • Publication number: 20040056571
Abstract: Disclosed is a shelf assembly which can be mounted as a unit to a desired spot such as a wall with stability, cohesiveness, and design. The shelf assembly includes a shelf support and a shelf body. The shelf support includes a fixing part at least a portion of which is in contact with the desired spot, and a fall prevention part holding the shelf body while preventing it from falling off. The shelf body includes a cavity which can encase the shelf body entirely. Preferable examples include an example in which the fall prevention part has a leaf spring structure, an example in which the fixing part is substantially straight or has a shape resembling the letter “L,” and an example in which the desired spot is a corner wall and the shelf support comprises two fixing parts and a fall prevention part arranged between the two fixing parts.

  • Patent number: 6474608
Abstract: A reusable fixture for articles which can be pushed in and pulled out manually, and which shows no deformation after being pulled out. A pin is formed in such a fashion that a pair of inserting blades are respectively supported rotatably on a pivot, in the vicinity of one end, a, of the respective blades, symmetrical bend sections being formed in the respective blades at positions towards the center thereof from the aforementioned ends, a, and the other ends thereof forming inserting sections. The inner and outer edge regions of the inserting section have a linear shape or a curved shape. A cap for holding the pivot is attached to the pin, and a knob section is formed on the cap. A thin plate-shaped washer having a hole through which the inserting blades are inserted is used in combination with the pin.
