  • Patent number: 7567825
Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus receives an external signal, and includes (i) a received signal level determination section for detecting a power level of the received signal and (ii) a correlation detection/determination section for detecting a correlation associated with the received signal. Moreover, the wireless communication apparatus switches between reception standby states as required, the reception standby states, including: (a) a normal operation mode in which a shift to a reception state is determined in accordance with whether or not the correlation is detected by the correlation detection/determination section; and (b) a low power consumption mode in which the shift to the reception state is determined in accordance with whether or not a received signal power level is detected by the received signal level determination section. With this, power consumption can be reduced, but a range of reception power of a signal that can be received is not narrowed.

  • Patent number: 4747359
Abstract: When the right turn or left turn is set by operating one joystick lever, the bow thrustor arranged on the bow side generates the drift thrust in the rightward or leftward direction in accordance with the turning angular velocity on the basis of the operation of the joystick lever. At the same time, the propellers provided on the stern side are controlled so as to generate the backward thrust proportional to the absolute value of the turning angular velocity of the ship. The forward thrust of the ship which is caused due to the generation of the drift thrust by the bow thrustor is suppressed. Thus, the ship is turned to the right or left around the stern as a rotational center at a predetermined speed with the position of the hull held.

  • Patent number: 4691659
Abstract: The rotation angles around the X and Y axes due to the operation of a joystick lever having degrees of freedom of three axes are respectively detected by two rotation angle detectors. A push button switch is provided at the edge of the joystick lever. When the push button switch is not operated, the operating direction and operation amount of the joystick lever are calculated on the basis of the outputs of two rotation angle detectors. When the push button switch was operated, the operating direction and operation amount of the joystick lever are calculated from the output of either one of two rotation angle detectors.
