    Abstract: A spectacle type audio/communication device in which the frame and temples of spectacles is used, and a plurality of parts are embeddedly provided dividedly without being exposed by effectively utilizing the limited space of the frame and temples of the spectacles, whereby a sense of strangeness in terms of appearance is eliminated. The audio/communication device includes a frame (1) and a pair of temples (3, 4) attached to both end parts of the frame (1) via hinges (2). Plate electrodes (6, 6a) are arranged in both end parts of the frame (1), and lead wires (5, 5a) each of which connects the plate electrodes (6, 6a) in one end part and the plate electrodes (6, 6a) in the other end part to each other are embeddedly provided in the frame (1). Parts constituting the audio/communication device, such as a speaker, an amplifier, and a battery, are embeddedly provided dividedly in the temples (3, 4).

    Abstract: The object is to provide a talking device, which employs a bone conduction speaker. The device is small in size, light in weight and excellent in fittingness. Further, the device enables its users to communicate with each other without suffering from any difficulty in hearing even in a noisy environment. The device uses a bone conduction speaker, and may also have an ornamental function to serve as a pendant during non-use of the device. The device comprises a bone conduction speaker (5), an air conduction microphone (6) and a wireless circuit. The device is capable of: fitting to the user's body; and, connecting to a cell phone (8) by wireless through the wireless circuit. Both the bone conduction speaker (5) and the wireless circuit are packed in a head portion (2) of the ornamental pendant.

    Abstract: A power source cut-off system enabling the user to cut off power supply from an outlet even when user is out comprises an outlet tap for supplying power to an electric apparatus by connecting it to a home commercial power source and a telephone set for controlling this outlet tap and connected to an external telephone line. The outlet tap comprises an outlet to which the electric apparatus is connected, a power cut-off means for cutting off the power source at this outlet, a reception means for receiving a radio signal transmitted from the external telephone set, and a control means for cutting off the power source at the outlet by the power source cut-off device according to the radio signal received by this reception means. The telephone set comprises a control signal reception means for receiving a control signal transmitted via an external communication apparatus, and a transmission means for transmitting a radio signal to the outlet tap on the basis of the control receiving means.

    Abstract: An object is to provide a communication system using a bone conduction speaker. The system is characterized by enabling its user to catch sounds from a monitor without putting any person around the user to inconvenience when the user enjoys exercises. The user wears a receiving means in a manner such that the user can immediately respond to an instruction issued from an instructor or the like. This system is applicable to various types of fitness machines and the like. The system comprises a receiving means mounted on the user's head; and, a transmitting means mounted on a machine having the monitor. The receiving means includes: the bone conduction speaker mounted on the user's headband; a receiving portion; an amplifier unit; and, a battery. The user can catch a sound signal output of the transmitting means during the user's own performance, by receiving the output through the receiving means.
