  • Patent number: 6268512
Abstract: The present invention is a process for producing 3-methyl-2-oxoindoline as defined by the following chemical formula (2), including heating of propionylphenylhydrazide as defined by the following chemical formula (1) in the presence of at least one kind of basic calcium compound, characterized in that an organic solvent withstanding at least at a temperature of 180° C. in the presence of the basic calcium compound is employed by at least an amount of equal weight to that of the propionylphenylhydrazide. With the construction mentioned above, even when the amount of calcium oxide is reduced down to as little as 15% of a conventionally used amount, at least 75% of a corresponding yield attained conventionally has been achieved.

  • Patent number: 5851200
Abstract: As a sealing structure for a syringe, a waterproofing film is adhered to the surface of a cap (6), a barrel (3) and a cylinder body (2) to cover fitting areas therebetween. The film is made of synthetic resin having a melting point higher than the temperature of flowing water vapor in post sterilization. As a sliding valve for a syringe, an inclined lip (24) is continuously protruded from the outer surface of a short cylindrical body (22). At the one end of the body, an annular lip (23) is formed. The inclined lip has a recess (34) for introducing a medicine liquid. The inclined lip may be formed in plural pairs of inverted , in plural stages, in plural strips in an axial direction, or in a shape to cross to form a sea slug wall. The sliding valve can be inserted with no inclination so that stagnant of air is not produced.

  • Patent number: 5830193
Abstract: A syringe in which one or more injectable materials are filled, comprises a cylinder or barrel in which a front partition stopper, which can be fixed or movable depending on the embodiment, and one or more intermediate partition stoppers are slidably disposed. In the simplest arrangement, a single intermediate partition stopper is disposed between the front partition stopper and a rear piston, to define first and second chambers within the cylinder in which first and second injectable materials can be respectively filled. An outer periphery of the intermediate partition stopper is provided with a plurality of circular lips between which at least one peripheral groove is defined. One of the first and second chambers is communicated with peripheral groove or grooves of the intermediate partition stopper by small passages to allow the first medicine, which is in liquid form, to enter and fill the groove or grooves and exclude air and bacteria therefrom.

  • Patent number: 5704918
Abstract: In medical scenes requiring emergency, where plural medicines are to be injected simultaneously, or solution of solid medicine is to be injected, different kinds of injection agents, without being previously mixed, are accommodated in chambers formed separately in a cylinder. In using a syringe, both injection agents can be sequentially injected separately or mixedly by a simple operation.
