  • Publication number: 20160251216
Abstract: To provide a photochemical reactor that allows a photochemical reaction to proceed in the atmospheric air. Used is porous glass that is permeable to light in such a wavelength region as to be absorbable by photosensitizer. The porous glass has pores and includes the photosensitizer, electron carrier, and reduction reaction catalyst, each serving as a reaction-involved substance and being disposed in the pores. This allows the interior of the pores of the porous glass to serve as a reaction site for the photochemical reaction and allows the photochemical reaction to proceed in the atmospheric air.

  • Publication number: 20050147780
Abstract: A porous electroconductive material having light transmitting property which comprises a porous glass and, formed on the outer surface thereof and also on the surface inside fine pores thereof, an electroconductive oxide film; and a method for preparing the porous electroconductive material which comprises using the chemical vapor transporting method, the sputtering method, the impregnation method, a method wherein a silanol group present on the surface of the porous glass is reacted with an organic metal compound and the product is oxidized by heating in air, or a method wherein a mixture of a polymer compound or an amine group-containing organic metal compound with a raw material for a film is applied to a substrate and then the polymer compound or the organic component is burned and removed.

  • Patent number: 6193784
Abstract: A method for the formation of a zeolite membrane, which comprises preparing raw materials (a) and (b) for the synthesis of zeolite, at least one of the raw materials containing water, positioning the raw material (a) for the synthesis of zeolite so as to contact one lateral face of a porous body and the raw material (b) therefor so as to contact the other lateral face of the porous body, causing the two raw materials (a) and (b) to permeate the porous body thereby forming an interface of the two raw material in pores of the porous body, and inducing a reaction of hydrothermal synthesis at the interface, a porous body obtained by the method and having a zeolite membrane formed in the pores thereof, and a membrane used for separation and purification of gas and formed of the porous body.
