  • Patent number: 4360589
Abstract: A compound represented by the structural formula: ##STR1## is representative of the compounds disclosed which are utilized within the silver halide layer of photographic light-sensitive materials. The compounds aid in preventing the fading of dye images which are formed by development of color photographic light-sensitive materials as well as aiding in the prevention of discoloration of non-developed areas. The effects of the compounds are particularly noticeable when utilized in combination with magenta couplers or cyan couplers, and other antifading agents in an amount of 2 to 150% by weight based on the weight of the couplers.
