  • Patent number: 4562464
Abstract: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus comprises an X-ray tube, a fluorescent plate for converting X-rays transmitted through an object irradiated with X-rays from the X-ray tube into visible light rays, a light image intensifier for intensifying the visible light rays, an image sensor for sensing an image contained in the output light rays from the intensifier and converting it into video signals, image processing unit for image-processing the output signals from the image sensor to intensify the image and to add together the image-processed video signals of a plurality of frames, and a monitor for visualizing the output signal from the image processing unit, where the video signals after image-processing are added together to increase the amplitude of the video signal.

  • Patent number: 4544949
Abstract: It is desirable in a digital subtraction angiography to realize the stereoscopic X-ray image visualization of a blood vessel by means of an X-ray diagnostic apparatus. In accordance with the invention, the object such as blood vessels is projected by X-rays before and after injection of the X-ray contrast medium at two different projection angles with respect to the object, i.e., right view and left view. So right-viewed X-ray "mask images'" and "subtraction images'" video signals and left-viewed X-ray "mask images'" and "subtraction images'" video signals are separatedly obtained. Then the right-viewed mask image's video signal is combined with the left-viewed one, resulting in one stereoscopic visual TV picture consisting of the desired portions of both the right-viewed image and the left-viewed image on the TV monitor simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 4403150
Abstract: A semiconductor radiation sensor arrangement for an automatic X-ray exposure control apparatus disposed in front of an X-ray film to be exposed to X-rays. A semiconductor radiation sensor is set in a mount. The mount is bored with a tapering penetrating hole and securely engaged with a hole penetrating a substrate. The peripheral walls of the mount and that of the penetrating hole of the substrate are tapered in cross section in the similar form. The semiconductor radiation sensor is fixed in the penetrating hole of the mount and has a sufficiently small thickness to cause X-rays to be attenuated to a less extent than 800 microns of aluminum equivalent thickness. Leads are formed of an aluminum layer with a smaller thickness than 80 microns and connected to the electrodes of the semiconductor radiation sensor. At least one scattered X-ray eliminating grid is disposed in parallel with the substrate and the semiconductor radiation sensor.

  • Patent number: 4160266
Abstract: An X-ray television apparatus is provided with a mode switching circuit for switching from a one-shot radiographing mode to a hold radiographing mode and vice versa. In the one-shot radiographing mode, an X-ray picture obtained through a short time exposure to X-rays is recorded and reproduced. In the hold radiographing mode, an X-ray picture immediately before a continuous fluoroscoping operation is recorded and reproduced. In the one-shot mode, the record/reproduction is performed after a predetermined time from the turning-on of the operation switch. In the hold mode, the same is performed after a predetermined time from the turning-off of the operation switch.
