  • Publication number: 20100208066
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an AFE circuit which repeatedly fetches an object scene image in synchronization with a vertical synchronization signal outputted from an SG. An image-data processing circuit cuts out an object scene image belonging to a cut-out area, out of the object scene image fetched by the AFE circuit, and performs an output process on the cut-out object scene image. A CPU changes a size of the cut-out area in a direction opposite to a fluctuating direction of a magnitude of a frequency of the vertical synchronization signal.

  • Patent number: 7346262
Abstract: A video recorder/reproducer comprises means for continuing, when a recording stop request is inputted during a recording operation, an operation for reading out data from a memory and an operation for recording the data on a recording medium but stopping the writing of the data into the memory, and means for stopping the recording operation after the readout of the data finally written into the memory and the writing of the data into the recording medium are terminated.

  • Patent number: 7203370
Abstract: An image signal processing apparatus includes two JPEG codecs. A plurality of frames of image signals periodically input from a multiplexer are individually compressed by the two JPEG codecs, and the compressed image signals are recorded on a hard disk by an HDD. Furthermore, the plurality of frames of the compressed image signals reproduced from the hard disk are individually expanded by the two JPEG codecs, and the expanded image signals are output to a monitor. Herein, each of the JPEG codecs selectively executes individual compression of the plurality of frames of the image signals and individual expansion of the plurality of frames of the compressed image signals. A CPU makes the JPEG codecs perform the compression process prior to the expansion process.

  • Patent number: 7146052
Abstract: A surveillance camera system includes a multiplexer. The multiplexer successively selects image data output from each surveillance camera one by one so as to input the selected image data to an image recording apparatus. The image data input to the image recording apparatus is subjected to a compression process by a compression expansion circuit and then, recorded on a hard disk. The compression process is performed on the basis of a reference coefficient stored in a management list within a memory. It is noted that a value capable of the image data to be compressed up to a size within a target range is set as a reference coefficient in an initialization process by a CPU. Furthermore, the reference coefficient is sequentially renewed by the CPU at a recording process.

  • Patent number: 6954582
Abstract: Disclosed is a digital VTR comprising means for recording a cue mark in a position, corresponding to a predetermined position in the middle of each recording block, on a control track of a magnetic tape at the time of recording, means for stopping, at the time point where actual data in the recording block are stored in predetermined amounts in a memory, the acceptance of the data in the memory and accelerating a capstan motor at the time of fast-forward play, and means for decelerating the capstan motor when the cue mark is detected.
