  • Patent number: 7132770
Abstract: An axial-air-gap brushless vibration motor has an eccentric rotor R in which an axial-air-gap magnet and an arched weight are provided in a rotor yoke which is rotatably mounted on a shaft fixed to a yoke bracket. A stator base is attached to the yoke bracket which includes a magnetic portion receiving the magnetic field of the magnet and a nonmagnetic portion. One Hall sensor and a drive circuit member for receiving output of the Hall sensor are disposed so that they do not overlap on a radial plane, of the stator base which has single-phase air-core armature coils installed. A cover member is welded to the yoke bracket.

  • Patent number: 7088022
Abstract: A vibration motor has an eccentric rotor having a plurality of armature coils with at least one winding-type air core armature coil disposed in an eccentric manner on a printed wiring board. A commutator is disposed on the printed wiring board. An eccentric weight is disposed so as not to overlap with at least one winding-type air-core armature coil and at least two of the air-core armature coils overlap. A magnet imparts a magnet field to the eccentric rotor via an axial air gap, a brush that imparts electric power to the air-core armature coils via the commutator.

  • Publication number: 20050127761
Abstract: By using a small cogging torque generation means, having a simple, thin and small constitution that can maintain strength and cause a rotor to stably stop at a prescribed position. An axial air-gap single phase brushless motor wherein a rotor having a magnet with six pole pieces is rotatably supported by a stator comprising a pair of air-core coils disposed on a base, wherein, in a core portion of one of the pair of air-core coils, a magnetic piece with a length roughly half the circumferential length is attached to the side of a reference line opposite the direction of rotation and parallel with said bracket, and a hole sensor is provided on a reference line that passes through the center of rotation and forms rights angles with the reference line.

  • Publication number: 20050099074
Abstract: The inventors focused their attention on the disposition configuration of air-core coils so that, while vibrations through centrifugal force are appropriately generated, high efficiency is obtained and assembly is easy, and, by disposing an eccentric weight in such a constitution, a large amount of vibration is obtained.

  • Patent number: 6876121
Abstract: An axial direction sliding-contact type brush apparatus is provided which can not only maintain performance of suppressing vibration of a brush of a flat vibrator motor but also allow the brush to form a stable electrical contact with a commutator. The base portion of the brush is installed at the exposed portion of the pattern of the brush base above the bracket at an elevation angle of 45° or less with respect to the brush base. The ultraviolet-cured acryl-based resin is coated on the base portion of the brush to cover a position located at about ? of the side projection length L of the brush arm portion from the base portion of the brush.

  • Patent number: 6853109
Abstract: An axially sliding contact type of a commutator which is capable of removing the problem related to a braking loose caused by magnetic force to prevent increase of consumed electricity, has a rotor including the commutator, and an electric motor having the rotor, in which a gap is axially formed. The commutator is of an axially contact type and comprises a plurality of metal plates made of copper and a noble metal layer coated on the metal plates in a state of disposing a separate layer between the metal plates and the noble metal layer. The separate layer is formed of Nickel plating having a non-magnetic property in a non-electrolysis manner.
