  • Patent number: 8209505
Abstract: A storage apparatus includes a drive unit in which a logical unit is formed, and a controller unit for accessing the logical unit by controlling the drive unit according to an access request sent from a host apparatus. The storage apparatus issues a logical unit takeover request to the other storage apparatuses, allocates a logical unit of another storage apparatus that will accept the transfer of the logical volume to its own logical unit according to a takeover approval sent from other storage apparatuses in response to the takeover request, and thereafter migrates data of the own logical unit to a logical unit of another storage apparatus. Subsequently, the path is switched so that the access request from the host apparatus is given to one of the other storage apparatuses.

  • Publication number: 20120139312
Abstract: The invention provides a vehicle seat device in which a seat can be simply and reliably held at a storage position. In a vehicle seat (10), a vehicle width direction outer side end portion of a seat cushion (12) is supported so as to be capable of rotating around a drive shaft (30) having an axis along a vehicle front-rear direction, and the seat cushion can be switched between a seating configuration at which an occupant can be seated and a storage configuration at which the seat cushion (12) stands erect along a vehicle cabin inner side surface S, due to being rotated around the drive shaft (30) by a driving motor (42). Further, the vehicle seat (10) which is in the storage configuration is held at the storage configuration due to a striker (46) engaging with a seat dragger (48) and is configured such that the striker (46) is released from the seat dragger (48) at the time of switching to the seating configuration.

  • Patent number: 8153336
Abstract: A photomask substrate with a substantially uniform thickness comprises: a first surface, which is a continuous curved surface whereon a mask pattern is to be formed; and a second surface. The first surface exhibits a square shape that comprises an opposing pair of first set sides and an opposing pair of second set sides and has support parts at end parts along the first set sides. When the photomask substrate is held such that the first surface is in a substantially vertical state, a reference plane that is parallel to a tangential plane of the first surface at the center point of the first surface is defined on the photomask substrate side that is closer to the first surface than to the second surface. At this time, a first distance in the thickness direction between the reference plane and the center point of the first surface is shorter than second distances in the thickness direction between the reference plane and the midpoints of the second set sides.

  • Publication number: 20110299860
Abstract: In a new printer, a toner cartridge is mounted in the state where there is no toner in a reserve tank, and toner of the amount of filling toner D therein is supplied with the amount of full accommodation toner E for filling up the reserve tank by a toner supply mechanism. The toner of the amount of remaining surplus toner F remains in the toner cartridge. The amount of toner consumption G is measured by a dot counter during a printing execution. In the case where a toner density sensor detects a toner decreasing, the toner is supplied to a developing unit from the reserve tank. When it becomes G>F, it display-informs a user of “toner cartridge exchange is allowed”. Hereby, it enables to exchange the toner cartridge without stopping operation of the main body of the image forming apparatus using a two-component developer.

  • Patent number: 7970991
Abstract: A storage control apparatus capable of rapidly carrying out data processing according to requests from upper order apparatus, and capable of rapidly returning the results of processing to the upper order apparatus is provided. A computer system comprised of upper order apparatus and storage control apparatus is disclosed. The upper order apparatus accesses a virtual volume. A pool volume is allocated to the virtual volume. The pool volume is provided with a storage region of storage discs. The pool volume classifies data sent from the upper order apparatus for every type into text data, block data, and large sized data. The storage control apparatus then recognizes the types of data and stores the data on respective volumes.

  • Patent number: 7954873
Abstract: A striker is supported by and coupled to a seat body and is held in a rotated position where the striker is lowered to a position along the shape of the seat body. When the seat body is moved and stowed, the striker is raised to and held at a rotated and raised position where the striker can be engaged and locked to a locking device. Elasticity of an opening spring and a rubber body, which are arranged between the striker and a coupling section, allows a forced rotational displacement of the striker in both forward and reverse directions from a state in which the striker is held at the rotated and raised position.
