  • Patent number: 7908866
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a gas turbine combustor with improved fatigue resistance of a combustor. It is possible to intentionally reduce a stiffness of each of flanges of upper and lower walls of an end portion (outlet) of the tail pipe of the gas turbine combustor. It is possible to reduce a stiff difference between the upper and lower walls of the end portion (outlet) of the tail pipe section and side walls. Thus, it is possible to reduce compulsion deformation caused due to thermal stress generated in the end portion (outlet) of the tail pipe section on the operation of the conventional gas turbine combustor, and to reduce high stress easy to generate in the side plate. As a result, the gas turbine combustor with high fatigue resistance can be realized.

  • Patent number: 7853365
Abstract: A system manages an optimal load distribution of a total output of a power plant composed of a plurality of units. Plant specifications data of each unit required for optimal load distribution is input and stored. Optimal load distribution calculating carries out a calculation based on data stored. The result of the calculation is stored. A sending-end characteristic curve, a fuel cost curve, a curve of the load optimally distributed to each unit versus the total output, a fuel cost curve for the total output, and fuel cost curves for comparison between a conventional load distribution and the optimal load distribution based on stored data are displayed. An optimal load distribution schedule displays a power transmission time schedule table, a power transmission time schedule curve, and a fuel cost comparison table for different operating schemes.

  • Patent number: 7012964
Abstract: Data indicative of a transfer mode of a transmission packet may be inserted into a payload portion contained in a serial digital transfer interface (SDTI) transmission packet. Also, data indicative of a timing mode of the transmission packet may be inserted into this payload portion. As the transfer mode, there may be provided a synchronous transfer mode and an isochronous transfer mode in addition to an asynchronous transfer mode. A timing mode may prescribe a timing mode in which a transmission packet may be transferred in synchronism with a field of a transmission frame. There may be provided a normal mode using a first field, an advanced mode using a second field and a dual mode using both fields. Depending upon the manner in which the timing mode is set, a system delay between the transmission and the reception can be minimized.

  • Patent number: 6611652
Abstract: An AV data input/output controlling circuit is connected through a data bus to a synchronous-asynchronous conversion circuit and through a control bus to a recording and reproduction controlling circuit. The AV data input/output controlling circuit inputs and outputs audio and/or video data of a normal data rate. The AV data input/output controlling circuit also inputs and outputs audio and/or video data of a higher data rate than usual. In the data recording and reproducing apparatus, audio and/or video data is transferred through a data bus synchronized with a reference synchronization signal S28 etc., the audio and/or video data input from an external unit is recorded in a storage device, and the audio and/or video data recorded in the storage device is reproduced and supplied to the outside.

  • Patent number: 6115535
Abstract: A non-tracking type audio and video data recording and reproducing apparatus and method adapted for use in performing an editing operation wherein data (overlying data) of a unit or group is inserted over previously recorded data (underlying data). During a recording operation, an error correction code(s) is added to the overlying data, the underlying data located in the area wherein the overlying data is to be recorded may be erased, and the overlying data for the tracks other than the first and last tracks thereof is recorded. During reproduction, the reproduced error correction codes and data of the unit of the tracks other than the first and last tracks thereof are utilized to obtain the overlying data of the first and last tracks which are not recorded. Such arrangement may prevent the erroneous reproduction of the underlying and overlying data at the boundaries of the underlying and overlying data.

  • Patent number: 5966494
Abstract: Digital video tape recorder which includes a color framing sequence as part of a recorded control signal during standard recording, and which maintains synchronous color framing and/or continuous groups of pictures in two different editing modes in which a newly-suppled video signal is recorded on a magnetic tape already having stored thereon a previously recorded video signal. In a normal recording mode, a color framing signal indicating the occurrence of a newly supplied picture is detected in a supplied video signal. A video control signal that includes the detected color framing signal is generated and is recorded in a control track of the magnetic tape and the video signal is recorded in synchronization with the detected color framing signal in successive oblique tracks on the magnetic tape.

  • Patent number: 5940574
Abstract: A recording system adds a track identification (ID) data for identifying each of the slant tracks, in units of GOP, on a tape during the recording of compressed video and audio data. A tape transport is controlled as a function of a longitudinal control signal recorded on a longitudinal track of the tape if a playback control head can normally reproduce the control signal. If, however, the playback control head cannot reproduce the longitudinal control signal, the tape transport is controlled as a function of a slant control signal containing the track ID data previously recorded on the tape. Hence, the tape transport is accurately maintained even if a problem occurs with the playback control head.
