  • Patent number: 10042337
Abstract: An electrical circuit is provided in a casing. The electrical circuit includes a capacitor having a particular function needed for realizing the electrical circuit. The electrical circuit includes an electrical component configured to generate heat due to energization. A flow creator creates, in the casing, an air flow that flows in a direction from the electrical component to the capacitor such that air heated by heat generation of the electrical component flows to the capacitor. A controller controls the flow creator. The capacitor has a characteristic that capacitance monotonically decreases or monotonically increases as temperature rises, in a part of a temperature range in which the electrical circuit operates. The controller detects a capacitance change due to a temperature change of the capacitor caused by the air heated by the heat generation, and controls the flow creator based on a detection result of the capacitance change.

  • Patent number: 8913913
Abstract: An image recording apparatus, comprising: a recording device; a cassette; a discharge tray; a conveying path; a conveyor; an electrical power supply; a cooling air flow path; an air blower to apply a wind-force to air; a casing; and an additional cassette device attached to a lower portion of the casing, and in this configuration, the additional cassette device comprises: an additional cassette and an additional conveying path. A relay path is provided between the additional conveying path and the conveying path. The electrical power supply and the cooling air flow path are arranged under the cassette. The electrical power supply is arranged to overlap with the cassette when viewed along the vertical direction, and the cooling air flow path is formed not to intersect with the relay path.

  • Patent number: 8867098
Abstract: When executed by a controller of recording apparatus, the instructions causes the recording apparatus to perform: calculating at least one of a first recording ratio and a second recording ratio based on an image data of an image recorded on a recording medium; controlling a depositing device of recording apparatus to perform a concealment process when at least one condition is satisfied, the at least one condition including a condition that the at least one of the first recording ratio and the second recording ratio is smaller than a threshold value; and controlling the depositing device not to perform the concealment process when the at least one of the first recording ratio and the second recording ratio is greater than or equal to the threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20040204976
Abstract: In an electronic transaction carried out in a virtual commerce space closed on an internet, when persons concerned with the transaction belong to different counties, it has hitherto been practiced that the persons concerned with the transaction manually proceed with business processes inherent in trading such as acquisition of export application and customs procedures on paper base in addition to an electronic payment process carried out on the virtual space region. To eliminate the manual business processing, an electronic commerce system connected to the virtual commerce space constructed on the internet and having a trading function, includes server units in which tax, carriage and insurance premium incurred, when a trading transaction is carried out, are automatically calculated, added, as reference information, to estimation information and then registered.
