  • Publication number: 20240337700
Abstract: An impedance measurement device includes: a switching circuit that forms a loop circuit together with a battery; a current measurer connected to a path connecting the battery and the switching circuit; and a voltage measurement device connected to both ends of the battery, in which the switching circuit generates a current flowing intermittently through the loop circuit from the battery, and the impedance measurement device: changes a time during which the current flows intermittently and a time during which the current does not flow to sweep a frequency of an alternating current from the battery; and measures the alternating current using the current measurer and measures an alternating current voltage of the battery using the voltage measurement device to derive an alternating current impedance of the battery.

  • Patent number: 11264890
Abstract: A power supply protection circuit is a circuit that controls a protection switch provided on a power supply line connecting a direct current power supply and a load circuit. The power supply protection circuit includes: circuitry connected to the protection switch; and a controller that switches an operation state of the circuitry between a first state and a second state. The first state is an operation state in which driving of the protection switch is enabled when the protection switch is a first semiconductor switch having a control terminal connected to a semiconductor layer of a first conductivity type. The second state is an operation state in which driving of the protection switch is enabled when the protection switch is a second semiconductor switch having a control terminal connected to a semiconductor layer of a second conductivity type that is different from the semiconductor layer of a first conductivity type.

  • Patent number: 10951115
Abstract: A switching regulator includes a switch device that is connected between an input terminal to which an input DC voltage is applied and an output terminal from which an output DC voltage is output, and that is turned on and off according to a drive signal; a hysteresis generation circuit to which the input DC voltage and the output DC voltage are applied; a reference voltage generation circuit that generates a reference voltage having a gradient proportional to an output current or an output voltage; and a drive signal generation circuit that generates the drive signal by comparing the output DC voltage with the reference voltage, and that, where the hysteresis generation circuit generates the output current or the output voltage that is inversely proportional to a differential voltage between the input DC voltage and the output DC voltage.

  • Publication number: 20070247124
Abstract: A power supply apparatus and power supply method that are able to decrease the overshoot/undershoot that occurs at the time of power supply voltage switching and enhance the voltage switching speed. Power supply apparatus 100, when in a transient state where output voltage is increased, supplies DAC value DD1 of DCDC register 202, which is the register for switching regulator 400, to LDO DAC 302 in place of DAC value LDO1 of LDO register 201, which is the register for series regulator 300, and LDO DAC 302 of series regulator 300 performs DAC operation while referring to DAC value DD1 of DCDC register 202.
