  • Publication number: 20080028309
Abstract: An input device performs various input operations in a secure manner on the same operation plane. A sheet-like display member formed of an organic electroluminescence selectively displays a keyboard input display pattern, a specific operation plane display pattern, and a pad input section display pattern. Additionally, a partial pressing member is configured to press operation areas of the display patterns from downside so that the operations areas are partially deformed in a protruding manner. As a result, the protruding operation areas are clearly sensed by means of sight and touch. Furthermore, a contact position of a finger is detected by an electrostatic capacitance type sheet-like detection member laminated on the sheet-like display member.

  • Patent number: 7283637
Abstract: An exciting device capable of producing sound by sound-producing vibration body of a main body of an apparatus is provided. An exciting member 32A thin and long in the direction X is provided on a vibration substrate 31 thin and long in the direction X. Both ends of the exciting member 32A are fixed to the vibration substrate 31. Further, a piezoelectric element 33 that functions as vibration generating means is provided in the middle in the direction X of the exciting member 32A. The vibration substrate 31 is directly or indirectly fixed to the sound-producing vibration body. Vibration of the exciting member 32A is transmitted to the sound-producing vibration body through the vibration substrate 31 so that the sound-producing vibration body produces sound.

  • Publication number: 20050158600
Abstract: A liquid fuel supply mechanism having a pump for retrieving a liquid fuel stored in an external tank and then supplying the liquid fuel into a fuel cell, and a flow passage for linking the tank to the fuel cell is disclosed. The flow passage includes a first flow passage for supplying the liquid fuel retrieved from the tank into the fuel cell, and a second flow passage for returning a waste fuel after use exhausted out of the fuel cell into the tank. The pump and the first and second flow passages and are mounted altogether on a first sheet member having a film shape to form a single body, which makes possible for the device to be miniaturized and easily handled.

  • Patent number: 5966259
Abstract: The present invention relates to a magnetic recording medium and a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus for the same. In the magnetic recording medium there are provided a read/write region which permits modification of written data and a read-only region dedicated to the reading of data, which is used for reading only once writing is done. In recording servo information to a data format region of the magnetic recording medium, the time width of servo information in the read-only region is set shorter than that in the read/write region.

  • Patent number: 4819095
Abstract: An information recording disk driving device includes an information recording disk having servo tracks formed at predetermined regions which include servo information. The driving device is configured to move a head assembly from a recording track for signal writing or reading to an associated one of the servo tracks in response to a servo information supplied at a predetermined time. An instruction from a controller or an instruction from a host computer to read the servo information from the servo track subsequently place the head assembly at the fine track position of the original recording track according to the detected servo information.
