  • Publication number: 20050015019
Abstract: A sampling syringe unit includes a syringe base for defining a chamber in cooperation with a diaphragm, a needle protruding substantially perpendicularly from the syringe base and communicating with the chamber, and a protective member which, in a normal state, is elastically urged to be located more outward than the tip of the needle. A sampling device to which the sampling syringe unit is removably attached includes a first actuator for displacing the syringe base, and a second actuator for displacing the diaphragm and then releasing the displacing force to restore the diaphragm and thereby cause a suction pressure to be produced in the chamber.

  • Patent number: 5296819
Abstract: A moisture sensitive device includes a polymer capacitive moisture sensitive element and a heater. The polymer capacitive moisture sensitive element is formed by sequentially stacking a lower electrode, a moisture sensitive film made of an organic polymer resin material, and an upper electrode on an insulating substrate. The heater serves to heat the moisture sensitive film to restore the original characteristics thereof.

  • Patent number: 5069069
Abstract: A moisture-sensitive element comprising a moisture-sensitive film which consists of a polymer (such as a polymer in which polyethersulfon is a principal component) whose water sorption amount is between 10 and 40 mg/g at a temperature of 30.degree. C. and a relative humidity of 90% RH. The temperature-sensitive element has a low temperature dependency, a small hysteresis and a quick response and accordingly can be employed in a wide range of temperature as well as in a severe condition such as high humidity, high temperature, cyclically fluctuating humidity, low humidity, moisture condensation, water dipping and so on.

  • Patent number: 4820915
Abstract: A color sensor has a layered body obtained by stacking a first photoelectric sensor which is constituted by an amorphous semiconductor having a "PIN" structure and a spectral sensitivity which has a peak with respect to blue light and a second photoelectric sensor which is constituted by an amorphous semiconductor having a "PIN" structure and a spectral sensitivity which has a peak with respect to red light, so that a p-n junction is formed therebetween, and a pair of electrodes with each of the electrodes being provided at a respective end of the body, at least one of the pair of electrodes being transparent. A color measuring apparatus uses the color sensor with a bias voltage supply for supplying three different bias voltages between the sensor and the pair of electrodes, a photo-current detector for detecting photo-currents for each bias voltage and a color discriminator for discriminating incident light color on the basis of the detected photo-currents.
