  • Publication number: 20240096534
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a superconducting coil apparatus comprising at least one superconducting coil formed of a plurality of turns under a definition that one turn is a portion of a superconducting wire annularly wound for one round, wherein: the superconducting coil has a shape along an outer peripheral surface of a tubular structure having a tubular shape; each of the plurality of turns has a coil longitudinal portion extending along an axial direction of the tubular structure; arrangement form of the coil longitudinal portion is different between a main magnetic field generation region configured to generate a main magnetic field and a magnetic field correction region configured to generate a correction magnetic field.

  • Patent number: 5844739
Abstract: A digital data recording apparatus records digital data in tracks on a tape. Each track has a first signal area for storing track format information and a second signal area for storing a plurality of sync blocks. The apparatus includes a circuit for inserting, in the first signal area, regular TDS information indicating the track data structure of digital data, and a circuit for inserting, in the final sync block, backup TDS information having the same structure as the regular TDS information.

  • Patent number: 5655050
Abstract: A digital signal recording apparatus for recording digital signal in synchronization blocks includes a generator for generating a synchronization pattern for indicating the beginning of each synchronization block, a generator for generating an ID data for indicating the sequence of the synchronization blocks, a generator for generating an ID parity for checking the ID data, a generator for generating additional information signal, which is a track width data, a generator for generating audio and video signals. Above data are applied to a pattern generator for generating track data comprising plural consecutive normal synchronization blocks immediately preceded by two mini-synchronization blocks and immediately followed by one mini-synchronization block. Each mini-synchronization block includes the synchrionization pattern, ID data, ID parity, and additional information signal. Each normal synchronization block includes the synchronization pattern, ID data, ID parity, and audio and video signal.

  • Patent number: 5617263
Abstract: An information data composed of a predetermined quantity converted from input data and an information data parity for use in detecting or correcting an error in the information data are formulated. An ID comprising information including position information indicative of a position of the information data relative to a recording medium, and an ID parity for use in detecting or correcting an error in the ID are formulated. Then, a sync pattern is formulated, followed by formulation of a sync block comprised of the sync pattern, the ID, the ID parity, the information data and the information data parity. A plurality of the sync blocks are connected together to provide a recording area. This recording area forms a track together with other recording areas. Three or more consecutive tracks forms a minimum editing unit with which recording or reproduction is carried out.

  • Patent number: 5321557
Abstract: A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus for recording and reproducing a video digital signal suitable to a narrowed track pitch having two magnetic heads with the same azimuth angle arranged with an overlapped area to reproduce the same track, and a tracking servo executing phase control such that a center of a reproducing track is brought to a center of the overlapped area of the two magnetic heads. Reproduced signals of the two magnetic heads are compared so that the reproduced output of the magnetic head having a good on-track condition is always selected to improve a tracking margin without increasing crosstalk disturbance from adjacent track.

  • Patent number: 5313346
Abstract: Disclosed is a tracking error detection system in a digital magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus for recording/reproducing a digital signal, in which a digital signal recorded by means of a magnetic head having an azimuth is reproduced to thereby produce a reproduction clock signal and the phase or period of the reproduction clock signal is measured to thereby detect a tracking error. Since the tracking error can be known every time the phase or period of the reproduction clock signal is measured, it is possible to detect the tracking error including the linearity of a recording track and it is possible to improve the accuracy in tracking error detection. Further, since no pilot signal or the like is frequency-multiplexed on a low frequency, the recording digital is not affected.
