  • Patent number: 5861697
Abstract: The invention relates to a single-phase induction motor comprising a main winding, an auxiliary winding which is arranged so that an electrical angle of the auxiliary winding is different from that of the main winding, a plurality of driving capacitors which are connected to the auxiliary winding, a relay for controlling on/off of the driving capacitor in response to the driving load, and a rotor having apertures on the gap side of the slots. The invention further relates to a rotor assembling apparatus comprising a bush to which a rotor core assembly is inserted for die-casting, wherein a clearance between said bush and said rotor core assembly is narrower to the extent that said rotor core assembly can be taken out after die casting; and a core band having a clearance between the core band and the bush in the circumferential direction of said bush, said core band is engaged into said bush so that movement in the axis direction is restricted.

  • Patent number: 5678299
Abstract: An enclosed motor compressor of a two cylinder type in which a clearance between the eccentric portion of the second rotary shaft and the second sub bearing is set greater than a clearance between the eccentric portion of the first rotary shaft and the first main bearing, and also there is formed a clearance between the eccentric portion of the second rotary shaft and the second main bearing, so that, even when the second rotary shaft moves in the axial direction thereof, there is eliminated the possibility that the eccentric portion of the second rotary shaft can be in touch with the second main bearing and second sub bearing in the axial direction, thereby being able to reduce noise. Also, the pair of main bearings further include, on the side of the compression elements, assembling jig mounting portions to which the assembling jig can be mounted.

  • Patent number: 5591103
Abstract: A hydraulic control circuit for a hydraulically operated vehicular transmission has at least five forward transmission trains. The hydraulic control circuit is made up of three sets of first through third solenoid valves and three sets of first through third shift valves to be controlled for changeover by the three sets of solenoid valves such that each of the transmission trains is established by changeover combinations of each of the shift valves. The first shift valve controls a condition of communication between an oil supply passage which is in communication with a hydraulic oil pressure source and a first oil passage and a second oil passage which are both on a downstream side of the oil supply passage.

  • Patent number: 5522235
Abstract: The invention concerns a reversible rotary compressor which can compress refrigerant in either of the forward and reverse directions, without providing a valve mechanism in a closed container. In a reversible rotary compressor including a cylinder, a rolling piston, and a slide vane, two inlet/outlet ports are formed in a space between the outer surface of the rolling piston and the inner surface of the cylinder in a state that the two inlet/outlet ports are disposed on both sides of the slide vane. The two inlet/outlet ports are closed by the rolling piston when the rolling piston is positioned at the top dead center and fully opened when the rolling piston is positioned at the bottom dead center. Two refrigerant pipes, coupled with the inlet/outlet ports, are provided in the side wall of the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5205192
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling an oil pressure for a vehicular automatic transmission has an accumulator connected to an oil passage which is in communication with each of clutches for transmission or speed changing; a regulator valve for regulating an oil pressure to be supplied to the hydraulic clutches; a first pressure control valve of electromagnetic type for controlling an output oil pressure of the regulator valve by causing an oil pressure to act thereupon; and a second pressure control valve of electromagnetic type for controlling a back pressure of the accumulator. A drain port of one of the first and second pressure control valves is connected to an oil passage on an output side of the other of the pressure control valves.

  • Patent number: 5154099
Abstract: An oil ejection control valve is interposed in a first hydraulic engagement element of an automatic transmission system from which oil is ejected when a certain speed stage shifting operation is to be carried out. The oil ejection control valve is provided with a valve member which is normally biased to a closed position by a spring. The valve member is provided with a first pressure receiving surface to which the ejection pressure from the first hydraulic engagement element is applied and a second pressure receiving surface to which the supply pressure to a second hydraulic engagement element is applied during the afore-mentioned shifting operation, the second hydraulic engagement element being the one to which pressure is supplied so as to engage the same during the speed stage shifting operation.

  • Patent number: 4906859
Abstract: An auto-transformer has first and second input terminals and first, second and third output terminals, the second output terminal being connected to a center tap of a coil and the first and third output terminals being connected to such points of the coil which are symmetrical with respect to the center tap. The first and second input terminals are connected to such points of the coil which are symmetrical with respect to the center tap. A first group of loads is coupled across the first and second output terminals and a second group of loads is coupled across the second and third output terminals. By equalizing the load currents to the first and second groups, the total current of the auto-transformer can be made significantly small.
