  • Patent number: 5043694
Abstract: A resistance element includes a resistance film formed between a pair of electrodes. A trimming groove is formed in the resistance film by means of a laser beam, whereby a resistance film portion which is electrically independent from the resistance film is formed. The trimming groove is formed between a start point and an end point which are both positioned at the outside edge of the resistance film, and the trimming groove includes a first portion which is started at the start point and curved (convex) toward one electrode, a second portion which is started at an end of the first portion and extended in a direction parallel with a line connecting the electrodes, and a third portion which is started at an end of the second portion and terminated at the end point and curved toward the other electrode. Therefore, the electrically independent resistance film portion is formed in the shape of an elongated circle.

  • Patent number: 4514787
Abstract: An electronic component series wherein a plurality of parallel lead type electronic components (1) each having two parallel lead wires (4) are equispaced along a retainer band (2) and distributed along the length of the retainer band (2) with the lead wires (4) extending in the same direction and are positioned by the retainer band (2), whereby the electronic components (1) are retained. The electronic component series is characterized in that the distance (A) between the pair of lead wires (4) of each electronic component (1) in a region (4a) where the lead wires (4) are placed on the retainer band (2) is made different from that (B) in a region (4c) closer to the electronic component main body (3), while the intermediate portions (4b) of the lead wires (4) are bent to absorb the difference in dimension between the distances (A, B).

  • Patent number: 4302736
Abstract: A disc type composite part for use in electrical and electronic equipment which includes a disc substrate of ceramic dielectric material having a through-opening formed at its central portion, a first electrode and a second electrode respectively provided adjacent to the outer periphery and around the through-opening on one surface of the substrate, a third electrode provided on the other surface of the substrate, a shortcircuiting member for selectively shortcircuiting the third electrode with the first or second electrode, resistor elements connected for bridging between the first and second electrodes so as to extend over the one surface of the substrate without following the diametrical direction of the substrate, and an electrically insulating covering layer formed at least on the one surface of the substrate.
