  • Patent number: 8276100
Abstract: An input control device for enabling the user to perform predetermined operation for an icon simply by performing move operation of a pointer without button operation is provided. An operation selection area generation section 167 generates position information of an area indicating operation corresponding to selection and activation of predetermined operation for an object to be selected, and a display section 15 displays an operation selection area based on the operation selection area position information. When an operation selection determination section 168 determines that a pointer arrives at the operation selection area, it instructs a control section 19 to execute operation for the icon corresponding to the operation selection area information. Upon reception of the instruction, the control section 19 activates and executes the operation corresponding to the operation selection area.

  • Publication number: 20090271739
Abstract: An input control unit for enabling the user to change the input function of an input key without operating any button is provided. A display section 15 is provided with a function partition area containing function determination areas and a match detection section 167 generates match detection information indicating that a pointer exists on a predetermined function determination area based on pointer position information indicating the display position of the pointer from a pointer position determination section 161 and function determination area position information indicating the display position of a function determination area from an icon position storage section 163, and sends the generated match detection information to a control section 168. The control section 168 converts the current input function of a numeric key 13a in an input key section 13 in response to the function determination area where the pointer exists based on the match detection information.

  • Publication number: 20050226292
Abstract: A circuit construction for maintaining a constant extinction ratio of a laser diode for converting a high-speed burst signal to an optical signal is disclosed. In this construction, control is made so that a difference between average optical power of burst #1 wherein a modulation current Im is set to a regular value and average optical power of burst #2 wherein a modulation current is slightly increased becomes equal to a reference value, and further control is made so that average optical power of burst #3 wherein the modulation current Im is set to the regular value is equal to a reference value.

  • Publication number: 20030137989
Abstract: In a communication apparatus for transmitting a packet between plural communication apparatus, an inputted digital signal is converted into a signal having a form suitable for transmission and is sent out to the transmission line, and a check is made as to whether or not a signal exists on the transmission line for, if the signal exists thereon, issuing a busy signal and receive the signal existing thereon for converting the signal into a digital signal.

  • Patent number: 6393064
Abstract: To perform communication at a higher speed than in the past using a new communication device without giving influence on the existing slave communication device, on a master device of a communication system such as PHS, there are provided two series of modulators and demodulators for conventional speed and for higher speed, the two different speeds being changeable by a changeover switch. A slave device to be added newly is also designed in almost the same configuration. In the link setup phase, an information to request change of modulation method is notified together with a request of communication from the slave device to the master device. From the master device, an information to specify time slots to be used in the communication phase and an information to specify modulation method are notified to the slave device. In the communication phase, communication is performed using the modulation method and the time slots as specified.

  • Patent number: 6307702
Abstract: The method of the present invention is capable of shortening the time required for positioning an inner actuator and writing servo track signals on a magnetic disc, and improving the quality of the written servo track signals. The amount of displacement between the inner actuator and an external actuator is detected with a present position of the external actuator. A first deviation between a travel destination of the external actuator and a present position of the inner actuator is detected on the basis of the amount of the displacement, the present position of the external actuator and the travel destination thereof. The inner actuator is controlled so as to make the first deviation within a predetermined standard range.

  • Patent number: 5394395
Abstract: A cell delay addition circuit can easily feed any desired delay to each of input cells in a communication apparatus or the like for asynchronous transfer mode operation. A time stamp is obtained for an inputted cell based on a sum of a delay amount from a delay amount producing circuit and the current time produced by a clock circuit. The time stamp and the input cell are written in a cell buffer. On the reading side, a comparator reads out a time stamp from the cell buffer and when the comparator detects that the current time tm is equal to or greater than the time stamp, the comparator produces a cell output enable signal ce so that the cell buffer produces the cell.

  • Patent number: 5291483
Abstract: A cell transfer method and a cell receiving apparatus in which cells of an asynchronous transfer mode are used to transfer information for a plurality of channels regardless of the number of channels and without reduction of the utilization rate of cell in the same cell configuration and the information for the channels can be reproduced while maintaining synchronization between the channels in a receiving side. The cell has an identifier for each channel and is exclusively used for each channel. Cells to be reproduced at the same time are given the same sequence number to be transferred. On the receiving side, when a cell is inputted in a cell disassembling circuit, the cell is disassembled into a sequence number, a channel identifier and channel data and channel information is written or stored in a buffer together with the sequence number by a distributing circuit in accordance with contents of the channel identifier.
