    Abstract: A perforated hole having a tapered wall is formed in a frame of a loudspeaker. The hole has a plurality of radial ribs on the tapered wall. A projection is provided on a metalic plate. The projection is engaged with the perforated hole and the top of the projection is peened so as to deform the projection, thereby to fasten the frame to the metalic plate.
