Abstract: A spindle rotation unit includes: a plurality of attachment portions that are arranged in a base; a spindle that is rotatably attached to any one of the plurality of attachment portions; a motor plate that is attached to the base; a motor attachment flange that is attached to the motor plate; a driving motor that is attached to the motor attachment flange; and a transfer member that connects the driving motor and the spindle and transfers a rotational driving force of the driving motor to the spindle. The motor attachment flange is provided with an opening portion through which the transfer member is inserted and the motor attachment flange is disposed in the motor plate to allow its position to be adjustable so that the opening portion is opened toward a predetermined attachment portion to which the spindle is attached among the plurality of attachment portions.

Abstract: A can making machine includes a main body frame; a holding table supported by the main body frame to hold a cylindrical body; a processing table which is supported on the main body frame via a shaft section penetrating through the holding table in a direction of a table axis and disposed to face the holding table in the direction of the table axis, and on which a processing tool configured to process the cylindrical body is provided; a crank unit configured to cause the processing table to reciprocate with respect to the holding table in the direction of the table axis; a table index unit configured to intermittently rotationally move the holding table about the table axis with respect to the processing table; a first drive motor configured to drive the crank unit; and a second drive motor configured to drive the table index unit.

At a discharge position, at which the formed can body is discharged from the recess of the can body holder, a piston displacing unit, which displaces the knocking out piston from the recessed position toward the protruding position, is provided adjacent to the other surface side of the base.
