  • Publication number: 20230105125
Abstract: A method for producing a sealed battery, capable of firmly joining a battery case and a sealing cover, includes injecting an electrolytic solution into the battery case through the liquid inlet, and after the injecting, welding the battery case and the sealing cover by irradiating and linearly scanning a laser beam on a welding area across the battery case and the sealing cover, while the liquid inlet is closed with the sealing cover. The laser beam has a beam profile including a first beam capable of vaporizing the electrolytic solution and oil, which exist on the surface of the welding area, and a second beam enabling keyhole welding on a removal portion of the welding area, from which at least part of the electrolytic solution and at least part of the oil have been removed by irradiation of the first beam.

  • Patent number: 8925625
Abstract: A heat exchanger has a flat tube (10) having a curved portion (13). A part of the curved portion (13) is formed by overlapping an outer rim (22) on an inner rim (21). The inner rim (21) has a small curvature region (102). The small curvature region (102) is inclined to a flat plate portion (11), and is defined by a radius larger than a difference between a half of a thickness of the flat tube (10) and a thickness of the outer rim (22). The small curvature region (102) is not beyond a center line (C1) in a thickness of the flat tube (10). The outer rim (22) extends beyond the center line (C1). The outer rim (22) has an end face (22a) placed on the small curvature region (102). The flat tube (10) has flared portions (15, 16) expanded at insertion holes (54).

  • Publication number: 20130220585
Abstract: A cylindrical member of a tube for a heat exchanger is made of a pair of flat plate portions, and a pair of curved portions for connecting the pair of flat plate portions to each other. One of the pair of curved portions constructs a bonded portion in which an outer wall portion and an inner wall portion are bonded to each by brazing in a state where the outer wall portion and the inner wall portion overlap each other. The inner wall portion has a portion opposite to the outer wall portion put into close contact with the outer wall portion and is bonded to the one flat plate portion in a state where a tip end portion of the inner wall portion opposite to the one flat plate portion is separated from the one flat plate portion.

  • Publication number: 20100206533
Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a plurality of tubes in which a thermal fluid flows, and a tank located at one longitudinal end portion of each tube and is brazed to the longitudinal end portions of the tubes to communicate with the tubes. The tank and the tube are respectively made of clad material plates in each of which a brazing material is clad on at least one surface of a core material. The brazing material of the tank and the brazing material of the tube respectively include Si content. Furthermore, a rate of the Si content in the brazing material of the tank is lower than that in the brazing material of the tube, and is in a range larger than 0% and equal to or smaller than 6%. Thus, meltage of the tube due to molten brazing material can be reduced during brazing of the tube and the tank.

  • Publication number: 20060219295
Abstract: Highly-pure water is stored into a storage tank 46 by reducing an impurity-ion content to not greater than a specified rate by removing impurity ions via a device 43, for manufacturing pure water, containing ion-exchange resin, and by reducing a dissolved-oxygen content to not greater than a specified rate by heating-deaerating with a heater 44 and reducing the pressure during storage in the storage tank 46. Highly-pure water to be stored is injected from a gun 10 into a vessel body 1 while detecting a flow-rate via a mass-flow meter 53. Therefore, a highly-accurate amount of water, with high purity, can be filled into the vessel body 1.

  • Patent number: 5727411
Abstract: Each of specific rollers which corresponds to one of the grooves is disposed in a circumference of the metal pipe at equal intervals and is pressed against the periphery of the metal pipe 10, thereby forming a plurality of the grooves at the same time. Because each of the grooves is formed by a specific forming roller, a plurality of the grooves can be formed separately, and the material of the wall between the grooves is prevented from being drawn. Thus, the grooves can be formed into a desired shape.
