Abstract: An X-ray spectrometer includes: an excitation source that irradiates a predetermined irradiation region on a surface of a sample with an excitation ray generating a characteristic X-ray; a flat plate analyzing crystal facing the irradiation region; a slit provided between the irradiation region and the analyzing crystal, the slit being parallel to a predetermined crystal plane of the analyzing crystal; a linear sensor including linear detection elements having a length in a direction parallel to the slit are arranged in a direction perpendicular to the slit; and an energy calibration unit that measures two characteristic X-rays in which energy is known by irradiating a surface of a standard sample generating the two characteristic X-rays with the excitation ray from the excitation source, and calibrates the energy of the characteristic X-ray detected by each detection element of the X-ray linear sensor based on the measured energies of the two characteristic X-rays.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a semiconductor device includes: fixing a semiconductor chip to a first part of a leadframe; bonding one connector member to a first terminal of the semiconductor chip, a second terminal of the semiconductor chip, a second part of the leadframe, and a third part of the leadframe; forming a sealing member; and separating a first conductive part of the connector member and a second conductive part of the connector member by removing at least a section of the portion of the connector member exposed outside the sealing member, the first conductive part being bonded to the first terminal and the second part, the second conductive part being bonded to the second terminal and the third part.
Abstract: An electrical treatment apparatus includes an electrode contactable with a body part, a voltage regulator to regulate a voltage applied to the electrode to provide electrical stimulation to the body part, and a control circuit to control the electrical treatment apparatus. While the control circuit is performing the treatment mode in which the voltage regulator is controlled to apply a voltage at a first voltage value corresponding to the treatment mode to the electrode, the control circuit controls the voltage regulator to switch a value of the voltage applied to the electrode from the first voltage value to a second voltage value and to thereafter switch the voltage value from the second voltage value to the first voltage value.

Abstract: A method for producing a fiber-reinforced resin molded article includes disposing a suction medium, a resin barrier aeration medium and a fiber base material in a cavity such that the suction medium is disposed between an end part of the fiber base material and a mold, and the resin barrier aeration medium is disposed between the suction medium and the end part of the fiber base material. Abstract: An electric treatment device includes an impedance detector to measure bioelectrical impedance at a site of a body of a user by using electrodes in contact with the site, a voltage controller to perform treatment of the site by controlling a voltage applied to the electrodes, and a timer to set a target time from when treatment of the site is started by the voltage controller to when the voltage value of the applied voltage reaches the target voltage value, based on the measured bioelectrical impedance. The greater the measured bioelectrical impedance is, the shorter the timer sets the target time. The voltage controller increases the voltage value of the applied voltage to the target voltage value based on the set target time.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for performing authentication using biometric authentication processing at a portable terminal connected to a multifunction peripheral (MFP) is provided. A web application accesses the portable terminal via a web browser of the MFP and the MFP transmits a request for information about service to the portable terminal. In a case where information corresponding to the web application is included in the information about service received from the portable terminal responsive to the request, the MFP transmits an authentication request to the portable terminal according to a request from the web application, and transmits, to the web application, an authentication result received from the portable terminal responsive to the authentication request.

The treatment control unit (410) performs treatment on the knee region at an electrical stimulation intensity appropriate for the user on the basis of the load and the walking performance.
