Publication number: 20240115355Abstract: A method of preparing an orthodontic bracket is used in orthodontics, and an orthodontic method is performed using the orthodontic bracket. The orthodontic bracket is formed of a correction wire through pipe and an orthodontic bracket body. The correction wire through pipe is placed on a central recessed portion of a molar occlusal surface of a treatment subject. The orthodontic bracket is formed by thickly depositing a dental resin from above the correction wire through pipe and by curing the dental resin, and by forming a though hole through which a correction wire passes by cutting front and rear end portions of the orthodontic bracket thus exposing opening portions at both ends of the correction wire through pipe. A period until the correction is performed can be shortened so that the present invention compensates for defects that occurs in the orthodontics using a mouthpiece.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 12, 2021Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventor: Tetsuya SHIMODA

Publication number: 20230240806Abstract: A conventional orthodontic mouthpiece has poor correction force compared to wire connection and hence, a large number of orthodontic mouthpieces are necessary until the completion of orthodontics and a long orthodontic period becomes necessary. Further, there has been a case where the ideal orthodontics cannot be realized with the use of only an orthodontic mouthpiece. In an orthodontic mouthpiece that performs orthodontics by covering an entire dentition that includes a tooth to be corrected with an orthodontic mouthpiece body, a portion of the orthodontic mouthpiece body that is brought into contact with a tooth in a specified dentition in the vicinity of molar teeth or in the vicinity of front teeth is cut away so as to provide a state where the specified dentition is exposed from the orthodontic mouthpiece body. Accordingly, the orthodontics can be performed using both the orthodontic mouthpiece and another tooth correcting unit.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2023Publication date: August 3, 2023Inventor: Tetsuya SHIMODA

Publication number: 20160266347Abstract: The present technology relates to an imaging apparatus and method, and a program, capable of focusing on a subject with higher accuracy. An image sensor shoots a captured image by receiving light coming from a subject via an optical unit and by converting the light into electrical signal. A captured-image processing unit detects a luminance level of the captured image. A passive mode AF calculator calculates a shift amount of a lens in autofocusing using a passive mode, and an active mode AF calculator calculates a shift amount of a lens in autofocusing using an active mode. An AF mode determination unit selects any one of the passive mode or the active mode by comparing the luminance level with a threshold. The present technology is applicable to digital still cameras.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 19, 2014Publication date: September 15, 2016Inventor: TETSUYA SHIMODA
