  • Patent number: 9939575
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a light guide plate includes steps of cutting a light guide plate base material with a frame-shaped die into a die-cut plate 50 including side surfaces each having a rectangular shape and performing thermal-imprinting process. In thermal-imprinting process, a processing surface 60a of a plate surface of a heated processing board 60 is pressed against one of the side surfaces 52 of the die-cut plate 50 to thermally imprint a pattern of the processing surface 60a of the processing board 60 on the one of the side surfaces 52 of the die-cut plate 50. The processing surface 60a having a shape that is recessed more at a portion thereof opposite a middle of a long dimension of the one of the side surfaces 52 than a portion thereof opposite ends of the long dimension of the one of the side surfaces 52 is pressed against the side surface 52.

  • Publication number: 20150226415
Abstract: LEDs 32 include anode terminals 34A on one end portions thereof and cathode terminals 34C on another end portions thereof. The LED 32 including the cathode terminal 34C and the adjacent LED 32 including the anode terminal 34A are arranged such that the cathode terminal and the anode terminal 34A are shifted from each other along a plate surface of a flexible board and in a direction perpendicular to an arrangement direction of the LEDs 32. The LEDs 32 further include anode-side wiring patterns 33A connected to the respective anode terminals 34A and cathode-side wiring patterns 33A connected to the respective cathode terminals 34C. The LED 32 including the cathode-side wiring pattern 33C and the adjacent LED 32 including the anode-side wiring pattern 33A are arranged such that the cathode-side wiring pattern 33C and the anode-side wiring pattern 33A partially overlap each other along the plate surface of the flexible board and in the direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction of the LEDs 32.

  • Patent number: 5027334
Abstract: A magneto-optical disk device for receiving a magneto-optical disk housed in a cassette and for driving the magneto-optical disk by a disk drive motor to read/write the disk is disclosed. The device includes a movable cassette carrier having a top plate for receiving the cassette therein, a read/write head located under the cassette carrier, a magnetic field coil slidably mounted on the top plate above the read/write head to move in a direction parallel to the movement of the read/write head, a pole extending substantially perpendicular from the read/write head at a position offset from the cassette carrier, and an arm having one end slidably mounted on the pole and other end fixedly connected to the magnetic field coil. The arm is mounted to slide along the pole to move the magnetic field coil along a direction substantially perpendicular to the disk.

  • Patent number: 4982299
Abstract: A linear motor is movably disposed in a disc unit internally provided with a cartidge holder for loading and ejecting a disc cartridge and is securely locked by a locking mechanism at the time of ejection of the cartridge. The locking mechanism comprises a first locking member extending downwards from the cartridge holder and a second locking member securely mounted on the linear motor. When the disc cartridge is ejected by the cartridge holder, the first locking member is brought into contact with the second locking member to move the linear motor toward a location at which the linear motor is securely locked.
