    Abstract: An edger having a main frame, at least one front wheel fastened in the front portion of the main frame, two rear wheels fastened in the rear portion of the main frame, a rotary blade disposed in the front portion of either side of the main frame and capable of conducting edging, an engine mounted on the main frame and a driving device for operating the rotary blade with the engine, the edger comprising: a resin cover fastened to a circular flange on the rotary-blade supporting shaft for covering a portion of the rotary blade. A structure for fitting the rotary blade cover includes a thin metal plate having an outer diameter larger than the flange, and fastening members for clamping the inner portion of the cover between the flange and the thin metal plate. Bolt assemblies are provided for fastening the thin metal plate and the cover together at a position outside the flange.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an edger with a belt braking device, including a belt driving device and a cutter blade, which are arranged at the side of an edger vehicle. A bearing housing portion of the cutter blade is provided for forward and rearward movement, a belt cover for covering the whole driving belt is fixed to the edger vehicle, and a belt braking device is arranged between the front end of the belt cover and the front driven pulley, whereby performing ON-OFF operation of a clutch and engagement/ disengagement of a brake simultaneously is enabled. In this way, the fixed belt cover can be compact and the operation for changing of working conditions can be simplified.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an edger wherein a cutter device is arranged on one side of an edger frame, the position of a front wheel is adjustable, the position of one of the rear wheels situated on the other side of the edger frame is also adjustable, and a mechanism for changing the position of the front wheel as well as changing the position of the rear wheel is performed by a single control lever at the operator's station. With this arrangement, the adjustment of the depth of the cutter and the adjustment for maintaining the edger in a horizontal condition when the edger is driven on a curbstone can be easily effected by the operator.

    Abstract: A vehicle mounted engine generator system is disclosed for supplying electricity to external electrical appliances and equipment used inside a camping car or outdoors in the camping site, which comprises a secondary water-cooled internal combustion engine of relatively small size and an engine generator electrically connected to the engine. The secondary engine has its cooling jacket connected to a cooling line supplying it with cooling water for engine cooling. Also, the cooling line is connected to a radiator connected to the main internal combustion engine of water-cooled type so that the heated cooling water through the secondary engine is cooled by the same radiator as for the main engine. Also, the secondary engine is electrically connected to the battery for the main engine in such a manner that the battery can be recharged from the secondary engine as well.
